Gosh, it looks so much harder to follow the visual scrolling.
Drums are the only instrument that I actually prefer standard sheet notation, this gave me a headache if I followed the visual, I just ended up watching him drum hahah

@@MomosDrums psshh I actually don't mind. I was thinking of adding a good amount of those changes to the original chart. Something that happens when you want to get something out quickly, is that you don't always get it right 😅
@@FigNeutered if you want I can send you the edited chart file! The cymbal change edits were mostly because my china is green not blue 😁
BTW I love the way you chart those snare-flams if you know what I mean. Almost every other charter makes these with red+yellow and not red(red ghost) and I never understood why 😂
@@MomosDrums No worries! I already have it in my head what changes I want to make and a lot of it is the missing cymbals/toms in the skank beats.
For the flams, I'm really glad you enjoy them! I have them charted very literally. My understanding is that the RY flams are so they can be hit more consistently and it's also the OG Rock Band way of doing things. You'd be surprised by how much hate I get for charting flams the way I do though 😂
@@FigNeutered hahahah 😂 I guess it's because RY flams are so much easier, because they aren't even charted as flams. And for me RY "flams" are annoying because I need to play Y on the rim, otherwise I'd get a tom sound (my toontrack sounds are fed into my ears while I play)
When I saw your way of charting I was like "wtf are these flams" and could x4 them at first but I got used to it quickly and it is soooo much better! Every step in the direction of an acoustic playing style is great!!

In my opinion clone hero is one of the best ways to learn drums, if you got at least some basics down!
I had lessons for about a year when I was like 8, the rest is self taught by youtube and guitar hero/clone hero!
Especially the knocked loose charts, which there a soo many of, are suuuper fun to play because most of them are not too difficult! I play them all the time just for fun :D

The spacing is different but it's essentially the same thing. It takes adjustment to get use to either but

hate to be the one to say it but this drum chart is pretty bad lol. Bloodline / SoundHaven did a chart of the same song, you should check that one out instead

@@MomosDrums sorry for the late response, look for the BirdmanExe charts google drive online. The chart you played has a lot of missing notes but most importantly a lot of the cymbals are charted as straight notes when they're actually being played on top of the kicks
