- No need to remove the trim panel to remove these door handles. This video also shows how to reset the release lever if the handle was removed improperly (without first extending the handle).
Shown is a 2015 Macan, this video refers to the passenger side of the vehicle, rear door is addressed @3:18.. - Фільми й анімація
Some models (2018 Cayenne) have 2-piece handle but remove and install process is the same: pull out handle, pull locking pin towards yourself, then remove cap. Very similar to VW type handle setup.
Thank you very much!! Spent an hour trying to get that door handle in. ❤
Excellent video and information. Wish all DIY videos were done this way!
thx‼️
Thank you so much for this! You saved us all a lot of unnecessary work!
I’m glad it was useful! I get bailed out by other peoples videos all the time.

Thank you sir! ✌️
Good good
I have a 09 Cayenne. Will this be the same procedure.
I wish I could say for sure but I cannot. I would try the same procedure because most Porsches and a lot of VW and Audis have this very similar set up. I always pull out on the handle first (or stick a rubber block under it) because some models require it and even if it’s not required it doesn’t hurt anything. Sometimes, if you remove the cap without holding the handle out first the inside lever will snap shut and leave you in no man’s land, if it does there is a provision in this video on how to reset before reinstalling the handle. Good luck my friend ✌️
I don't see the plunger pin cover for the handles of the back doors. I had one of the handles become disengaged on its own so I'm trying to put it back on
@3:20 it shows How to remove the weatherstrip molding to reveal the access hole.
Thank you sir.... we would like to ask please be an angel if any vids for removal of side mirrors and vents for porsche boxster 2019...Thanks
Sorry, do not have those videos, good luck!
Any way to do this if drivers door can not be opened. Ive got a problem where i believe the actuator is 'stuck' open and neither the interior or exterior handle will open the door. Ive pulled the interior door panel back as far a possible at the top of the door (given that the door is closed) and have exposed the cable and it does not appear to be broken....which leads me to conclude the actuator is stuck. It happened once recently and seemed to unstick itself.....this time not so lucky. Any ideas anyone???
Sounds bleak, but removing the handle would not allow access to the latch anyway. May sound stupid but you might try disconnecting the battery a few minutes then reconnecting to trick the system--is a long shot. Either way, that trim panel may not live through this procedure (and is very expensive).
😃🎯
The driver side has a two torx screws, how do you remove the driver door handle?
Sorry, I do not have one in front of me but, to the best of my knowledge, try this; pull out on the door handle, loosen the torx screw fully (the upper one - if there are two of them), remove the cover cap, then pull out the handle as shown in the video for the passenger side. What year is your's?
@@eldigitom9680 it's a 2021, there's a large torx where the plunger would be and a small torx in the hole under the plunger access point.
@@alexaugustine302 It may be a similar setup to VW. Take a look at this short videoua-cam.com/video/5_qK-A48zsc/v-deo.html (starting @ 0:25) to see if this is a locking screw you're talking about.
@@eldigitom9680 I worked thank you!
@@alexaugustine302 Fantastic!
panamera4s also same?
Not sure, sorry
@@eldigitom9680 whatever thanks😊
