I love how they can capture subtle changes in her facial expression in the model animation, it really does show the moment she figured it out and a tiny smile of relief.

I think these were her internal thoughts rather than her speaking.
Only the English dub the Japanese dub original Chinese and Korean all voiced.

If Alice and other striking VAs are recently participating in Hoyo content again that mean they likely got a deal w/ Hoyo that allows them to continue VO work (probably helping them jump ship to a no-AI VA agency)

I was more irritated than anything, cuz I had just seen recently that the voice of robin was nominated as best va. They did did have a typo and put huohuo’s va, but everything else listed pointed towards robin’s. I know the strike is a big deal but dang
I play in JP and only later found out about EN voices missing... I'd say I can't imagine how less impactful this conversation would be voiceless but here I am, crying again rewatching this as it is

she does. to the seal the deal, when sunday asked her who it was she wished to encourage, she says “it’s someone who experienced failure recently and is about to embark on a long journey.” is that not enough proof that she figured him out?
This was so beautiful. Griffin did a phenomenal job at voicing sunday's character, his emotions and his true inner feelings.
Those sighs felt like he was almost on the verge of crying, and the slow pauses between dialogues were impeccable! Perfectly capturing the sound of a caring older brother giving his final goodbye.
Wish robin was also voiced. Would've been a beautiful halovian sibling moment, but it's understandable.
This quest was too short, but really beautiful. Love it very much!

@@UnlimitedFlyers might have something to do with the strikes some studios were doing, I know it affected a bunch of the genshin cast, these may have been recorded around the same time
@@PS1DemoDisk Bro hsr's studio is not on strike so this doesn't make sense plus the SAG strike was over in November
My guess is that this patch came at an awkward spot between the VA strikes and so not everyone could turn up for recordings, a little frustrating but look at this way. Better we have no voice lines than a different VA replacing them.
Agreed, and in the "possible bugs and issues" part of the menu it said it was due to "scheduling issues" so I am going to go with that and hope for the best

@@getchwaltzetki6022for the others who are mute most likely Robin is a bit weird since for fact that she was in all of sunday's marketing fully voiced and that stuff is usually recorded pretty close to release it really could just be the scheduling thing
the reason there are problems is because the studio doesn't want to agree to not use ai, they don't agree to sag-aftra's terms. it seems that hsr is going to be moving their voice team to the zzz studio who did agree
i think it is because didn't they get the green light like a couple weeks before drop, they probably didn't get everyone in the studio with how much their is and some things were only partially voiced like just he event or just the livestream

When Dan Heng and Himeko didn't speak I lost motivation to play. Even HSR couldn't escape this problem. And my problem is unlike in Genshin where I initially played in JP for a few weeks, I have never played HSR in JP and I don't want to because I'm not used to the voices.
Genshin became a script and so shall all the hoyoverse games, its canon
Same problem I have. Don’t wanna switch to Chinese, which is the language I use in genshin. I’m not used to it and it doesn’t feel the same, despite being the original and correct version

everything's been resolved and things will be added in future updates.
Glad I waited until 3.0 to finish 2.7's story cause they fixed Robin's voice lines (no Himeko yet unfortunately) and I was sobbing by the end 😭

Thus I think she means by the "sun" being her brother . The lyrics get too me 😭. It's emotional song with lyrics or instrumental.
Sunday may have worn a disguise, but it didn't take much for Robin to see through it. But she went with the disguise her brother was using as if to respect it. Sunday meets Robin at Dream's Edge and they started talking in which Sunday as Wonweek spoke his feelings of the night sky and of the dream which lead to Robin picking up on who Wonweek really is. Both of them go over their thoughts on the aftermath of the Stellaron manipulation and how many guests have left Penacony afterwards (though that is likely them no longer under the Order's influence or those who had their harmony restored by Stelle doing Clockwork). Sunday gives Robin some encouragement while Robin speaks of her regret that she couldn't say goodbye to her brother before he left. Sunday tells her that he already knows of her feelings without the words. Robin speaks of her wishes towards her brother and that they both can find their own paths even apart which touched Sunday. Robin then asks for Wonweek (Sunday) a favor to help her finish the Jigsaw next to them. The puzzle was a charmony dove which defined them since they were young holding many meanings. The dove from the painting came to life and as Robin tended to it, Sunday left quietly. Robin after watching the dove leave, bids her farewell to Sunday wishing him to let himself be at ease throughout his journey.
Some words don't need to be said to convey the sentiment. The two shooting stars are a Genshin reference to Aether and Lumine who went on their journeys apart from one another much like how Robin and Sunday are doing now.
I hope they meet each other again I hope

Robin, Himeko, Dan heng and main character Stelle or Caelus had no voices idk what happened.
It's due to the VA strikes at the time. Many Hoyo VAs stopped voice acting due to concerns regarding A.I. replication of their voices to essentially cut costs and cost their jobs.

Arguably, the most crucial part of Sunday's redemption arc is soured because of scheduling issues with the VAs, which lead to Robin being silent
As much as i agree with the strikes going on, it definitely displayed negative effects to all the games involved

I don't understand Hoyo's decision to not play one of Robin's songs here. The scene lacks a lot of emotional impact, because they just kept looping the damn map background track that couldn't be more unfitting for the scene.
They did tho, a melody of "Had I Not Seen The Sun" (Best Robin song btw)

I play genshin in English and Starrail in Japanese- and the impact is so lost with the English dub its sad cause this is such a big moment 😭 but still it sounds great regardless
Just finishes this quest now, 3 weeks after postponing. But damn, I don't even like Sunday but I cried. My only gripe is Robin not being voiced. The scene lost a bit of impact. I'd probably be sobbing if she were voiced. Such a shame.
According to Topaz va apparently Robin VA revealed that she actually recorded for this scene but whether she didn’t record it in time for them to implement she was just as surprised to find it mute.
So it really is a schedule conflict with Alice.

I think it's other issues. Look at all the other VAs who support the strike (Yukong & Ruan Mei) that are still voiced. It's because the studio isn't affected by the strike, but there must be internal issues going on that's preventing the VAs from being able to voice. There's no way Alice Himora (Robin's VA) voiced for 2.6 and then suddenly decided to not voice in 2.7 because of the strike. That kind of inconsistency can only be explained by a problem with the recording studio itself.

La verdad es que me hubiera gustado escuchar la voz de Robin. Todo Penacony tiene buenas VA en ingles. Considero que el VA ingles de Sunday le da mil vueltas al japones, es que no le queda. La VA de Robin tanto en japones como ingles son buenisimas.

I get if they're replacing one or two characters like how it happened before, but Caelus, Himeko, Dan Heng, and Robin, there's no way they can afford to remove their VAs and hire new ones in a short amount of time especially with the new story that's coming with 3.0 that will 100% involve all members of the Astral Express (but they currently have missing voicelines in 2.7). That's going to cause an even bigger outrage if they all end up being replaced.

@@lsaacthecraftsman I was just considering the severity of the situation because that is exactly what happened in Genshin. However, I have reason to believe these missing voicelines are not because of the strike when last patch was fully voiced. If it was because of the strike, the VAs should be continuing to strike, not deciding to voice one update and then suddenly refusing to voice another because there's a strike when they were already voicing before the strike. This makes me think it's something on the recording studio's end.

I could think that Sunday has to accept that Robin does love the Trailblazer and he can't oppose it. Then he has to prove himself to the Trailblazers and to Schicksal too.

The point of a strike is to apply pressure, so that means its doing its job. Your job however is to be mad at the studio for putting the VAs in this position, not to blame the VAs for wanting fair treatment :)

i play in JP so i came here to see this amazing scene moment in english and here i am shocked that many people had it basically ruined. i understand that VAs are doing a strike or whatever but hoyo needs to cut the bullshit at this point and just decide on one thing. you either remove all english dub from the game. or you replace the VAs who are doing the strikes like they do in ZZZ. you can't thave hese annoying patchwork quests where half the cast is not voiced.
