I spoke to Dr. Koons for about 10 minutes some 15 years ago at a Lutheran church in Austin TX where he gave me his syllabus for his Christian Philosophy class. The books on his syllabus, including one of Francis Schaeffer's, were instrumental in my decision to write on Christian philosophy and go into ministry.
The Westminster Confession teaches that things drawn from Scripture by good and necessary consequence are part of the faith. “The whole counsel of God concerning all things necessary for his own glory, man’s salvation, faith and life, is either expressly set down in Scripture, or by good and necessary consequence may be deduced from Scripture” (WCF 1.6).
Great discussion!! Really enjoyed it!

Need to read St Dumitru Staniloae on time and eternity to fully understand time.
