@@sonic_gloom Woof...I know the feeling! Did you see the monster bash video? Maybe try that! Drawing random cards to assemble some whacky random creature really got my creative mind turning. I think I will turn to those cards anytime I get stuck 😉
Hi againg Raquel,, good to see you back. Looks like your dog is gettting better. Nice wizard, great painting job. I just follow your advise and start to writte again. Hope to see u soon againg. Miguel
Wow! I love the idea of Miscast's RPG (I stumbled across his videos last month and I'm hooked) and love the artwork you're providing :) The black and white (grey) concept of toad-wizard might be one of my favourite pieces ever :D It reminds me of the old Roald Dahl books :) Again, a great video and it's awesome to see you working with other creatives and crafters!
@@RaqrexArt my pupper showed up from a working ranch as well. Croped tail, working dog genetics, natural obsession with livestock. Not a working dog tho. A chow hound and lap dog all the way! Thanks for sharing your passion and fur baby!
@@justarandomname420 Haha that's great! Django obviously does not have any herding instincts...probably why they were getting rid of him! But he loves to "work" by playing lots of frisbee and he is EXTREMELY cuddly ❤️
I've discovered your channel through your "Monster Bash" video and the more I'm watching your work, the more I want to give sculpting a try. I've never done it before so it's very intimidating but you make it looks so fun and enjoyable ! I can't wait to see more of your awesome creations :).
Hello! I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos and the sculpting ☺️ It is seriously so fun - please give it a try! One thing I love about working with clay is it is so easy to go back and forth with it (before you bake it). Like, if I add ears and I hate them it's so easy to just squish them and start again. I love it!
Tell Jango (Django?) I love them! Also, I totally identify. with a lot of what you've said here. I personally look forward to seeing you videos and I really like the variety of art and topics you cover on your channel. As a creative person myself - I write, I build terrain, I paint, I cook, I run and play in RPGs of all kinds, and I'm currently writing my own wargame (which I sometimes refer to as harnessing the power of my ADHD) - I appreciate a multi-discipline approach to, well, everything. I'm learning things from you. You are a bright spot in my often dreary weeks (although I am Union, my job was forced to cut back on its employees, closing down completely from mid-March to September and only operating at 25% since September. I'm #42 on a list of 60 and so far only #1-35 have been called back to work. I don't have a return to work date and may not have a job for the foreseeable future). I keep myself busy with my art - I write every day. When I grow tired of writing I switch to building miniatures and terrain. When the magic of that wears off, I switch to painting. And so forth. So, absolutely I will create something today. Every day. Thank you for being here. And yes, I very much appreciate the adorable poof of your ponytail. It translates across the screen.
I think my YT is being weird because I am 99% sure I typed out a response to this already....but anyway...Ya already know I'm a huge fan of the creative endeavors you've picked up in this trying time. Keep up the great work my friend! 💫
Love the painting! Glad you got to contribute to Arcane Ugly. "We got him from a farm. He's never worked a day in his life." 🤣🤣🤣 And great words on imposter syndrome. If someone told me there was ever anyone who *didn't* suffer from it, I wouldn't believe them.
Thanks Jesstin! I'm so stoked that I got to contribute as well...can't wait to play it! I think it's kind of the human condition to doubt yourself...at least sometimes 🙃

I saw your tentacle-toad-mage on the Miscast progress vid, it looks like an awesome world you guys are creating. Also, thank you so much for addressing imposter syndrome. I have never really felt artistic, but starting a quarantine UA-cam channel has made me feel like I'll get there someday. Thanks for adding some positivity to the internet.
It is Miscast's magical world - I'm just happy to be a part of it! Lol. And oh gosh from what I have seen of your work I would 100% say you are an artistic person! Keep on creating and keep on believing in yourself :-)
@@RaqrexArt Thank you for the kind words, I think I will keep trying to art, lol. It's a great stress reliever if nothing else. Having a channel is also a good accountability partner to not stop making stuff. I look forward to seeing Miscast's world as it comes to life.
Well I think you are very artistic (That Wizard is Ace), also I love the stuff you post on Instagram, such positive vibes in your work! I never knew of Imposter Syndrome, but I have never felt like anything I created, did, or finished, was good enough for my own standards... I thought I was just hard on myself... so I can identify with Imposter Syndrome for sure. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Troy! It's hard for us creatives not to be hard on ourselves...I'm the same way with gym stuff too which I'm sure you get. In fact that might be worse...like why the hell can't we just get in shape and stay in shape with no effort? or why can't I run a 100 miler after my 50 miler? Ya know?...it's all about learning to appreciate where you're at and being grateful in the moment 💫
I needed this today, so I'll stop being a silent viewer for a moment, and thank you. I work in news and often find it hard to think of my video work as creative, but hearing your pep talk and seeing the chance you have taken with this UA-cam endeavor has encouraged me, so once again thanks.
Hi! Thanks for commenting and breaking your silence 😊 I'm so happy that you're feeling encouraged after this video. It's definitely an uphill battle to *always* believe in yourself but I think it's important to remember and appreciate your accomplishments. And I would think there are a lot of creative choices to be made in the news in the video or print world. Cheers to you my friend!
You’re completely right about the impostor syndrome. I started doing spraypaint art 8 months ago and had a hard time calling myself an artist. It wasn’t until I started selling some of my pieces (a few months ago) that I really started to feel like I “belonged”. Still creeps in from time to time, but now so long as I’m enjoying myself I’m happy. Just do you. 😁
