Florida goes through this all the time and they don’t deal with this BS. GET IT TOGETHER CENTERPOINTLESS or the people will start making moves to get you OUT OF TEXAS. WERE TIRED OF YOUR LIES.
Centerpoint been lying about being in humble and as of now day 4 no power! They email me telling me they was near my address restoring power, but i haven't seen any Centerpoint crew in my area!
You're right. As soon as Abbott and Patrick rolled up they're top priority was to deregulate the power grid and companies. So now you have Cntp and Entergy supplying and a million different companies billing customers where as the service area has tripled. Ex-lineman here. So for a small kick back you'll see Beryl Energy coming soon 🤔😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
I Have never seen a more disorganized effort to restore power. I went over from Louisiana to help, there was hardly no damage that I seen in the Pasadena area, yet there are still people without power after 4 days. I did not see 1 snapped pole the entire time I was there. This is what you get when you have an organized Union, high wages and little effort. This is why Detroit is a ghost town now.
What's crazy about it is that Greg Abbott have said anything even though he's away on business but there hasn't been no declaration of disaster for Texas 🙅🏾♂️🇨🇱
We at least have information on how much companies spend on tree removal. Centerpoint spends about a sixth of what that New Mexico/Texas Co-op does....
In a perfect world ppl would realize that tree is gonna cause them to sit for days in 100* and take down the tree before it’s their ruination. It’s kinda crazy ppl don’t take down trees before it takes out their power and leaves them sweating in a Texas July heatwave.
Well Centerpoint is only working on Houston and no surrounding towns or cities so that's a bias that should be illegal and they say they prepared for a Cat 1 hurricane.
You want them to first spend five hours restoring power to five people before spending five hours to restore power to fifty people? Focus on higher density areas is the most reasonable thing I’ve seen today
@@SigFigNewtonThe fact that it’s Friday and those outer areas still have no power is selfish? Go f*** yourself. Don’t defend them. They knew this was coming and they didn’t do anything to prepare especially after the last storm that came through and now everyone’s suffering.
You're supposed to start in areas where the most people are an work your way out so you can get as many people as possible and as quickly as possible so if you're in the country you'll have to wait
We don’t have an issue with the lineman the issues is Centerpoints coordinators , cooperate office, and executives. That should of had things in place for hurricane they knew days in advance that was going to hit us
I predicted this hurricane on 06/29/2024 would hit Houston on 07/07/2024 which it did. There was time for them to prepare but you have an old, outdated grid. No tree trimming, nothing. Let this be a lesson and make them upgrade your infrastructure like we have here in Florida. You shouldn't go without power for more than 24 hours...God Bless...
And this is why I don’t like paying taxes , yall knew what yall were doing with this we have ppl about to lose there homes , jobs , businesses but care about taxes or paying bills on time it’s not fair
The restoration map is just a way of Centerpoint trying to document their progress when we in Imperial Oaks are still without power. Their new map this morning shows they are done with us. Do you know how frustrating that is? Does this mean they actually believe this? Have they stopped the plan of sending crews out here? There is still a tree on a downed power line 2 blocks from my house . I'd like to visit Centerpoint with torches and ropes like the good ole days. Someone please help us. Don't let them get away with this. Stop the Good ole boys network to the Governor that's gonna push this under the rug.
Why do people make it political....bro it's a hurricane. It's normal for us. Nothing new. I don't have no power. Still about to go to work and get this day started.
Go to California or New York. Ups... I forgot that honest people from these 2 states are leaving because of their demoncratic system that favors crime.
Fckin a ours was out for two months after andrew in 93, last bad one was only 3 weeks though. I thought texans were tough? Two days no power n theyre cryin on the news. They're goin really be cryin once they realize that power ain comin back on for at LEAST a week or two!
They could have hardened the grid and made upgrades... but Centerpoint C level guys went for stock buybacks, bonuses and dividends instead.
We need CenterPoint’s CEO and VP’s HOME ADDRESSES NOW !!!!!
