I have had it since release, my pop (RIP2018) flew it in Rhodesia in the late 50s In my experience of it, it gets a down-teir lots to 8.7 and 9.0, but you still get 10.3 games every now and then (recently I had a lot of 10.3 games due to LOTS of MiG-21 SMT/MF spamming the matchmaker. The fact it is subsonic is not that bad as you can get lots of reversals and overshooting people, then surprise them with your good mid speed acceleration, or your excellent AIM-9Es with a 10g overload (although it doesn't look like it).

problem i have with this, is they made it a Rhodesian export in order to make it worse than if it was a British varient since the Rhodesians didnt have as much ordanace as we did

I bought it in the recent sale, and I've been loving it. The advice on how to play in this video and the 'Fighter Theory' one still hold up in the current patch. Definitely worth it to grind the high tier British planes.
Not really mate, it takes a lot of knowledge to fly well in the jet battles. The wyvern would be a good choice, good for bombing bases in air RB. Or the low tier Corsair Mk II
Should have a review on the STRV 81 pretty soon, got most of the footage for it. Might be a while for the Shot; I'd say don't buy the shot, hopefully Britain will get a better top tier premium tank, the shot is pretty bad. No thermals, poor armour, and incredibly slow. Thanks again for the comment!
Hi Sako, Love your videos and especailly this one on the Hunter. In your video you metion that you can ground pound quite well in the Hunter because of its ordnance loads, however ive had reall trouble trying to do that in air RB. If im top tier my team will rarely win if I spend the first couple of minutes bombing a base and then returning to engage. Where as if I am not top tier, I find that A. Phantoms will bomb all of the bases before I can get there and B. while carrying ordnance the FGR.9 has the manoeuvrability of a fat girl at a buffet and attracts similar levels of mocking attention but in this analogy from migs with R-60's. Would anyone be able to offer any more advice on how to play the FGA. 9? I am a pretty average pilot, and have managed to carry a few games in it, but more often than not just contribute by playing into that idea that a lot of top tier players have that its a noob plane, then using this to reverse and bait enemys down to low energy states for my team to pick up. However this doesnt really net me many SL or EXP. Kinda defeating the idea of a premium product. Also I am unlocking the F.6 as I write this and would like to know also if this is an easier or more rewarding plane to fly? Thanks again for your help guys.
I prefer the premium hunter, it's more maneuverable, which gives you a chance to reverse enemies. Make sure to use airbrake and dropping throttle to 0% Your main advantage in the hunter is your energy retention, so booming and zooming slower enemies is your main tactic. This doesn't really work against supersonics; in supersonic matches, I'd fly off to the side for a minute and let your team get a fight going, and then sweep in and try and support your team. I'm super busy with work ATM, so sorry for not replying quicker/more in depth. I'll try and get a video on hunter tactics out soon, I still have a bunch of clips; just finding the time to edit. The wyvern imo is a bit better for sl overtime and is more beginner friendly and its br is good maybe a bit broken but i have got like 500k sl in 4hours by bombing a base and strafing pillboxes u can get easily up to 30-100k sl per game
If you've never flown Jets before, no. As you need a bit of experience to make it work well. Bit if you have jets of other nations, and know how to fly them, it's a really great premium!

@@Slades_Garage The hunter FGA is pretty good if you know how to fly jets, however I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. The Corsair Mk II is very good for learning how to fly, its powerful for its tier, but requires you to boom and zoom. Not hard at BR 2.7, as most planes that tier are turn fighters. Wyvern is a very good choice, I used it to bomb bases in Air RB, it is a bomber and not really a fighter. But it's great for both air RB and ground attack in battles as well. Hellcat is also a good choice, it's a turn fighter, but it gets outplayed a bit at 3.7. If you can ever get the premium Spitfire LF mk 9, I highly recommend it, they don't sell it often, but it's worth the money. Sorry I can't help anymore mate, I've got videos on most of the planes ive just mentioned, so look at them for a bit more info. You just want to make silver lions however, I highly recommend the Italian G 55S
