Very pretty! FYI, it’s a cable tidy not a cup holder - it allows you to feed all your wires through and underneath so you can plug them in x

I’m gonna use my hole as a cup holder now too. Right now it’s covered by a desk lamp, but a cup holder is far more useful. 😁

And if you want that to be a cup holder than it can be lol you basically made something that you didn’t need functional for you. that’s what I call innovation lol
Yes it’s one of the few memberships/ subscriptions I actually use. And lol right!! I definitely don’t use it for cords 🤦🏻♀️😂

Where did you get your black washi tape? I see it many places but but not the right width.
I have the Micke desk from Ikea. And I hate that hole as well. I put a round bathtub grip sticker on it to cover the hole and now it looks so much better. So happy I did it.
Satisfying.
Also made me realize how I need to stop buying flag stickers. 😬

Yes! The filing system!!! I have a similar one but use it is purely for mail. This would pair nicely PLUS you're so sweet to link products usually.

I have this desk! The hole is to put your electrical cords :) there's a tray behind the draw to put a electric plug board and the cords can poke through!! So SO handy!
That grommet is for your cords not your cups.

That hole is not for cups, it's to pass wires and cables through for those who have a desktop computer, printer, ect.

I always thought those holes were for your computer cords. It may be a generation thing- you may be too young to remember the days of the big bulky computers/bases/massive wires, lol.
GREYLILY lol yes technically that’s what it’s for if you have a desk top or desk lamps. I used it for a cup/ candle

I got the Besta Burs desk from Ikea. Really nice and narrow and then had Home Depot cut a piece of glass for me to fit the top.

Thanks Michelle! I use a little white-out tool to cover mistakes. It was from Cloth & paper but any white-out correction tape should work for you 💕
