for groups who wanna make it big, i think they would rather save it for special stages and concerts. if these days the concept doesn't sell then it's just smart to not make it your main selling point.
They do exist. GFriend started out with a pure concept. Oh My Girl still kind of has a happy, pop sound. And I think there are a lot others who tried continuing this concept, but it doesn't "sell" as well anymore. First one I can think of Berry Good. GGs that do this concept are just not doing well, so they switch to girl crush.

Actually, dear. Before Seventeen even debuted, Hello Venus's Venus video was popular and had around 4 million views. And only after Seventeen debuted, the views only increased by a small amount. I'm pretty sure that if I were you or any other Seventeen fan, I wouldn't want hundreds of people coming on Seventeen's MV commenting about who brought them here. It would be annoying by then to see multiple comments about the same thing and it would be boring to not see any actual feedback on the group and song itself. Do you see where I'm going here? One comment is enough but having 500 of the same thing, it's a bit rude to Hello Venus since they worked hard to please people for their music, not for who was in their video.

I am truly grateful to Fantagio for not giving up on HelloVenus after the split with Pledis. I am sure that very few agencies would have persevered as much with a "nugu" group as HV was. There are those who complain about the change of concept, which ruined them, but it was that change that the group could continue a few more years after Pledis wasted the popularity they had in the debut. To the eight members that were part of HelloVenus, thank you very much for being such a united family, I hope that each one of you will achieve your dreams in the future.

이건 진짜 최애 보려고 음악방송 보다가 훅 들어온 노래 너무 좋아서 하루동안 이것만 반복재생해서 들었는데
이멤버가 진리다.... 소속사가둘이고 멤버가 각각 나눠져서 이렇게 될소지가 첨부터다분혔지만... 어느누가양보했다면 걸그룹 탑 찍을수있었다.. 원 투 보컬두명이 나가버리니... 지금 헐비보면 안쓰러울뿐이다... 노래가 정말 역대급이고.. 비쥬얼도.. 플레디스에서는 뭘 어쨌길래 유아라 나가버리고... 애가 중국에서 예능하고 자빠졌더라 중국 애덜하고.. 앱터스쿨을잘키우든가.. 아깝다 아까워..지금 헬비중 새로들어온 멤버는..최송하지만.. ng네요
