Would love to see Bill Frisell do an entire album of Bacharach tunes- some of my favorite songs from my childhood. It's instant nostalgia for me, but this transforms it into something new.
This goes to show that no matter the circumstance even in the face of a crippling pandemic, music still remains the only truly unifying factor that can bring us together.
He is the guitarist in the world who goes the farthest with the fewest and simplest notes. Even the smallest movements sound just so amazing and so Frisell.
I was grateful to see Bill frisell in March in Seattle before this whole thing erupted with covid-19. He always works with the most amazing musicians. Thank you for posting this
