Conclusion:
Only Jesus’ fleshly body died - not His spirit. Jesus was still alive and is still alive. We say that we serve a risen Savior, because His body returned to life. Those who reject Jesus Christ will live in eternal punishment and those who believe and submit to Him will live with God for eternity.

Why did Jesus have to die physically so man could attain salvation? What significance does physical death have with spiritual life?
Sin brought physical and spiritual death to man's life (Romans 5:12-17). Jesus Christ has to die physically in order to reverse the effects of sin on man's behalf, thereby bringing the gift of spiritual life now (Romans 6:23) and victory over physical death in the end (1 Corinthians 15:21-22, 44-45). Thus through Christ's physical death, God has satisfactorily dealt with sin and death (Romans 6:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 2:9, 14; 1 Peter 2:24). The truth is that Jesus came to conquer death, and He did that by means of His own death.
The good news now is, all who by faith belong to Jesus share the benefit of that death (Romans 6:3-8; 2 Corinthians 5:14; Colossians 2:12-15). However, it is bad news for those who refuse Jesus because they have, by their unbelief, chosen to face the second death which the Bible describes as hell, eternal destruction, the lake of fire, outer darkness (Matthew 8:12; 25:46; John 8:24; Revelation 20:14).

I backlided but i never had peace with my soul. I ws filled wth anxiety and keep reminding my self where is my soul. The moment i confess my sins and turn away from my fleshly desire im peaceful. The love of God is amazing. He loved us and send his only begotten Jesus Christ forcthe atonement of our sins.
The sad part is that most Christians do not realise that now there is no condemnation when we fall short in our walk. When you were saved the Bible says you became a new creation; the old sinful nature is gone and you are declared to be the righteousness of God ! Jesus paid the price for all your sins, past, present and future ! Now that doesn’t give us the licence to sin as some would think ! When temptation comes you must declare that “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, sin has no hold one me “. Do this every time you’re tempted and even if you fall keep declaring this and before you know it you will see that temptation no longer has a hold on you. So keep declaring so am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and sin has no hold on me ! Amen
