- This is a transit walk at Brussels Airport in Belgium. We arrived on a European Union flight to Concourse A at Brussels Airport (BRU) in Belgium , for a connection flight also from Concourse A to another European Union flight. This video is an inside Brussels Airport walk through Concourse A (Terminal A) where viewers get an inside Brussels Airport view of the terminal. Our flights were with Brussels Airlines.

It is located partially in Zaventem, partially in the Diegem area of Machelen, and partially in Steenokkerzeel, in the Flemish Region of Belgium..."

Brussels has always been the connection Airport to other places around world. If you don't go to Brussels or Belgium you would use this airport for connections flights.
Great airport I must say, ordenate and comfortable in all terminals. For me the best in Europe.

I know I am probably biased because I'm Belgian, but I love that terminal! Been there several times myself, and it's just perfect. Great view of the runways, lots of places to sit, relax and chill out, and so on.
Helsinki/Vantaa is a great one too, but I have to say, this is my favourite one!

After cutting the ticket I was freaking out a little bit, but it seems super easy as I don't think I will have to go anywhere, I hope I will be alright^^

I've been through this airport going from Concourse B out into the city for about 8 hours (10 hour layover) and then to Concourse A. It's a bit confusing going from one concourse to the other but it is an excellent airport none the less. Especially Concourse A!

Traveller OH Yes! Definately one of the best experiences. If you have the time and the opportunity to get an long ass layover do it! 20-30 minutes and your in the heart of the city and you got tonnes of options!

to transit from gate A to gate T or gate B do we need the transit visa for the connecting flight?
My plane in 11 days would most likely depart from the gate you landed and i will have a great time filming planes landing and taking off! This concourse is one off my favourite's so far

It doesn't matter if you come from a European union country but if you come from a Shengen country these are arriving and departing in terminal A. For Africa flights the end of terminal A can be transformed into "terminal T" with passport control. All other non-shengen flights depart from terminal B who also has passport control.

No that's not completely right... I explain:
A-Gates: Schengen (which means free traveling through all the Schengen-countries)
B-Gates: non-Schengen (there is a passport control for those flights)
A/T-Gates: they are found in the back part of the Schengen-terminal, there is a passport control you have to pass because all the Brussels Airlines flights to Africa and the USA leave here, and it's not used for Schengen flights (it cannot be transformed)
+Geoffrey Croes It can be transformed ! In peak season i took a flight to Basel euroairport completely at the end of the terminal. I took a flight to africa their too. There are panels they use to close or open this section with a fixed passportbooth in the middle. And indeed all long haul Bruair flights depart in T.

When u have arrived the airport, what must we go trough to exit the airport?
Hi Per, we did not exit the airport as we were in transit (we had a connection flight). Would imagine that if you came from outside the EU you would pass through immigration, baggage pickup, customs and then exit... if you arrive from an EU country you would go straight to baggage claim (although sometimes one can experience passenger ID checks at an immigration), through a customs area and then exit the airport. Hope this information is useful, have a good week ahead!
A very long walk! trust me, i was there in august and we had to walk for quite a while! It had nice views but still..
So if your on a connecting flight to Africa is it complicated to get to your gate from there?

Believe it or not this footage was filmed last year Easter! We were on our way to Krakow...
Not at all. First, the bombs were detonated in the great hall on the landslide, second anything destroyed in the attack has been rebuilt since.
