I admire both of you so much for all that you do. And you do a lot! We are so lucky to have you leading the way to better health and better lives. Thank you.
As a fellow non-drinker and wfpb person I totally felt your pain and frustration on this. Those all inclusives give me the heebie jeebues and alcohol use sets such a negative setting ❤
So excited for the building and being able to do your own thing! Such an accomplishment what you guys have done over the years!! Can’t wait to continue following the journey and seeing what’s available over time such as bulk options, different packaging and new offerings!!
I just went through the medicine cabinet and gathered up all the crap I used to take (pain killers, acid controllers, etc.) and bid them farewell! Amazing how giving up the terrible foods and oils can turn your health around. I always thought I was a healthy person back then, but now I know I am at my healthiest. Thank you for providing such wonderful content that is real and relevant and so so supportive!
Cheers to the recipe winners! I won't be to be able to watch you make 'em tomorrow, Dillon, but will rewatch Saturday morning. Can't wait. Sorry to hear about the food on your vacation. That's awful. For the last several years, when I go on vacation, I've stayed at AirBnbs so I can make my own food, which is super fun, as you know. Making and eating oat pancakes for breakfast while looking out at the Vermont woods last February was amazing. Your awesome Date Powder helped. Happy New Year to your whole family!
We just got back from an all-inclusive in Cancun. We had the exact same problem. One unfortunate thing that happened to me was I asked the chef if a bean dish was vegan and he said it was. I confirmed with him by saying there’s no meat or dairy correct and he said no. Unfortunately, on our last day there a different chef told me that yes it’s made with beef broth and lard. I asked him if they make it the same way every day and he said yes. So essentially I had eaten broth and lard all seven days I was there. I was so sick when we got home. I feel your pain.
I just had the same thing, travelling back to Australia from family Christmas in UK. You have my sympathies, it was awful flu with fever and cough. That combined with dreadful jet lag was one of worst weeks of my life!! So good to get home to home cooked healthy food!! Love you guys 🙏😘😘
I love Well Your World Broth! Great to always have broth available in pantry. Had bad cold - cough and lots of mucus. Drank at least a quart of broth every day. Really helped! Thanks!
Came back to watch the replay since I missed the first part of the live. Your vacay sounds like a time when "wasband" and I went to a conference he was invited to speak at in Dallas, TX. He was a telecom engineer. A bunch of chiropractors were there in the hotel at the same time, and a ruder, grimier bunch of folks you would not imagine. They'd get drunk as skunks and invite each other to get "adjustments." One of them leaned over the side of his deck chair and asked me, "do you want me to adjust you?" and I replied, "do you want my husband to punch your lights out?" lol Ah, well. Sometimes we end up needing a vacation from our vacations.
I have gotten some sort of illness the past few times I have traveled to Central America. This past time was "from the water" but I had the same water everyone else was drinking. I also don't drink so the idea of staying around a pool bar that everyone pees in doesn't seem so enticing.
Hi! My husband had to travel to Japan because of an accident in the family. I couldn’t go with him because of work. Since we are always together, I miss him on day one (today). On top of that, he is the one who normally does all the cooking, so I need to figure out what to eat…got home and noticed this WYW hangout is up. Thank you for being a great company during my dinner. I’m also going to decide which of your 10 min recipes I’m going to try and his weekend after tomorrow’s show (great place to start, right?). Anyway, I wanted to thank you for being there.
I always seem to have trouble even here in the US with vegetarian vs vegan. Lots of "chefs" think cheese is fine- I'm usually okay giving into "some" oil but NO CHEESE!!! Ugg. Why is it so hard?
We took a Viking Cruise. Before hand we were assured that they could accommodate any diet. But they didn’t. We would sit with a group for an evening. Everyone else would have a meal with 4 or 5 course and thousands of calories. We would get 3 courses. A salad that was just lettuce. a main course that would be a few green beans arranged prettily and no starch. and dessert would be a few berries. We would be starving! And everyone else was saying how wonderful the food was
Holistic Holiday at sea vegan cruise on MSC. I went last year it was awesome with great food and many presentations and options of oil free. 2025 is 20th year vegan cruise
Well you’ve just commented on a free Q&A live stream that we do twice a month and we have a free community Facebook group so there are plenty of free resources. Keep showing up and make yourself part of the community.
Brown rice, millet, beans, lentils batch cooked so there's always some in fridge and freezer. Batching all on same day means only having to wash the pressure cooker one time at the end. Alternate with salad

Thank you so much Vicki!

Here in NC, lots of flu...you both are a great resource for WFPB, thank you!

Wow that sounds devastating
I’d be so mad. I’m so sorry that happened. I’ll never do it again.
Devastating is the right word...so sorry ❤

Oof brutal

Made my night that we could be there for you. Take good care and also try our soup mixes sometime. They are amazing for this.
@ Great point! I will definitely include some of your soup mixes in my next order :)

Wow thanks for being honest about the resort. Did they have a good selection of great fruit???? I would have been soo sick with all that oil 😱
Actually the fruit was also terrible
What do you suggest for someone who has no support at home and no money to join the online groups as well as a serious problem with beinge eating

Noro virus? It's going around! Get well soon!
Norovirus is intestinal, not respiratory. They'd be in the bathroom instead of on a livestream 😮
Fell better soon. Cancel if you have too
