Your video made my day Paul. I knew that was Mrs. H flying past you, glad you both had a nice day to be out enjoying a bit of Nature in such a beautiful setting. We had heavy rain last night but it should clear up this morning so I'll get myself out for a walk in the woods. It was too hot and dry for the blackberries here this year but the apples, plums, and fall cherries did well. My walk will take me past some old abandoned apple trees so I'll have a snack along the way. Thank you for the inspiration to get out, between the move and my health I've been a bit down in the dumps. Take care, Ossie

Good evening Paul! Your banter is full of good cheer and humor...Mrs. H. will run your over the next time with that wisecrack! Wild grown blackberry and black raspberry tastes so sweet, so delicious. I have a place like your old Mental near me...it's an Old Soldiers Home. Build in the late 1880's, it has many unused building and the vandals used to break windows, start fires, destroy the aging buildings. The good thing is a judge said it must be preserved, so today I saw they are repairing those historical buildings. Wish your Mental would get the same treatment! Paul, that meal looks scrumptious. Hunger pangs kicking in now...oh, the inhumane torture of it. I would love to visit these places you show. Perhaps I might see a place or two during my 2019 trip. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
Thank you Todd, can't beat the wild fruit of nature...shame about these old buildings, they will save some of the building here, but a lot will be demolished, when we don't know....been going on for years. The strange thing is, no matter what country we are from, these old building seem to attract the same vandals, either smashing things or graffiti ....lots of buildings like this I am sure you would enjoy seeing on your trip next year.... :-)

It is true we can't save all, but saving the historic flavor of a community and the architectural heritage ought to be done on some other level than naught. Yes, always the same thoughtless and disrespectful lot...those vandals. I am looking forward to seeing those buildings Paul. You have inspired me to know more about your place. I hope I have not burdened you...in any form.
