Great little injection mold machine.. I need one with some serious tons of clamp pressure so I need the large floor model industrial machine. Still this small one is fascinating though, I really like it. I am in admiration of the builder of this machine including the computer control system.

I've had a few close calls in the past, and I've learned the importance of wearing Softgle
Impressive. The quality of the parts is surprisingly high.
In real world your electric consumption is high at the beginning of the process and then barrel heats are only in 20 % rest is shear heat produced to maintain barrel heats. Injection is well known for great repeatability and steady process. In video you can see that it starts great..then you can see it got too hot - string ..I guess there is no suckback/pullback and I wonder how to maintain the shot size if there is no cushion.
Overall VERY IMPRESSIVE FOR IT SMALL SIZE.

Seriously is the cost of electricity such an issue? Show us more about the machine, the hardware, software, electronics. Forget about the amount of electricity used. You are majoring in a minor area.
Cost per part is the issue. Cost of electricity is next to cost of plastic when calculating cost per part. Video is impressive but part dimension consistency is not shown. Cooling like a chiller adds to the electricity cost. Would like to see that consumption also.
Considering it is 220v and so much concentration on the electricity this person must live in Europe and they rape their people in energy costs.
Someone always pays the REAL COST of energy. In Europe it might be the consumer. In countries that use coal or oil the enviroment pays big time.
He is probably selling these machines. So, he doesn't want to show it in details. And he paid attention to electricity, because wants his customers to see that this can be installed at home.

посмотрев данное видео - вычертил детали к подобному станку (давно мечтал иметь подобное оборудование, а то всё в ручную домкратом...), сейчас (на работе) делаю весь алюминий, токарь режет резьбу на направляющих, нашёл движки подобные и нашёл где заказать подобную шнековую пару.

Really nice machine, even the mold is flawless, but........you know the difference between power measured in watts (Вт) and energy (consumption) measured in watt-hours (Вт⋅ч), right? Right????? Also, putting up the description also in English prehaps might've helped you with driving more prospects to this video....

Well, if the machine draws a power of 250 watts (Вт), then every hour it consumes 250 Wh (watt-hours, Вт⋅ч) of energy. In 1 hour that's 250 Wh of energy consumed, in 2 hours it's 500 Wh, in 10 hours it's 2.5 kWh and so on. The machine looks really neat though ;)

Looks pretty good. For small distance (50-70mm) between tie-bars it could work without toggle lever. Didn't understood how are you moving the screw forward and injecting. Or it is just plastic intrusion with low pressure?
