I've listened to hundreds of different versions of this song and read thousands of comments and yet, yours is the only one that explains what thoughts this song should cause. I feel the same way like this song reminds me of the beauty of the infinite universe and how important we are as a species on this planet
I always picture human evolution when listening to this song… that or the evolution of aeronautics… from powered gliding in North Carolina to the surface of the moon in less than 70 years is INSANE
How insignificant human life is compared to the world around us and that what makes it intresting the fact that we put all effort to be the best but turn to dust one day, oh to be immortal ( it would truly be a dream) for some but to me death is much better. Think of it as a reward after a hard day's work. That what make living worth it, that we will rewarded with a peaceful slumber, ( not a nihilist, just a realist). So live on people trust me it makes death nore rewarding when we have lived to the fullest.
I accept that I will die one day but at any chance or opportunity I would 100% take immortality. I think I've grown since young with a very active curious mind and to this day that hasn't changed. I need to know things. I need to know how the future is like, I want to be there for every crazy science discovery the future has to offer, I want to be there when we finally can say we've explored all our oceans, lands, I want to witness and perhaps experience humankind traverse between universes like it's nothing. I need something more than this, you know? I feel, re reading your comment, it seems more so like death is something to yearn for you, you describe it as a reward after a full lfie of a hard day's work, but isn't that just depressing? Don't you want something more? Don't you ever feel like you were not meant to be just sitting around doing things you don't enjoy, just to survive? How do you find life fulfilling at all? Man, I feel like I was born in the wrong period of time. Too early to see anything huge happen and too late to experience the magic of the rapid industrial/technological advancements we made not so long ago. Thanks for reading this, if anyone does, it's late at night and I shall sleep. Question everything
This song just makes me feel like we’re in 2077 sitting in my room looking out my window and seeing the purple lights flying cars big buildings.
Because it’s a Cyberpunk song.
"A happier ending? Here for folks like us? Wrong city, wrong people.".

This feels like each century of life on Earth passing by, going farther and farther back, and when the beat drops, we see the Big Bang.
