the space-engineers-ification of minecraft is amazing
All we need is collisions and its golden
And it looks more fun than Space Engineers. That game has some good ideas, but I can't play it for more than a few minutes before I get too frustrated to keep going.
This brings back so many memories to the airship and plane mods I used to play with when i was younger. How limited and ugly it used to feel.
This mod might be the most wide eyed I've been for Minecraft ANYTHING in a long time.
This is a golden age.
It so nice to see the devs talking a bit more about the project! I was really worried they would want to hold all the create simulated projects till liftoff was done. Its great to know we wont have to wait for that to happen! Not that im not terrible excited for liftoff but aeronautic looks so cool!
Steam and rails seems particularly interesting because a train base could actually travel between different dimensions!
they have planned all landlord contraptions to able to travel to different dimensions. so your airship could travel to the nether or the end as well. i would assume it could travel to the aether, the twilight forrest etc. given the contraption fits into the portal.

well twilight forest is always gonna be a SQUEEZE of a portal as from memory it is a hard sized portal, but the aether is al all purpases neather like you can have a HUGE 14x14 portal and fly from overworld into the aether or if ya use immersive portals with world looping deal then you just fly upward into the void then to aether.@@egegokdenizduman

Imagine some server with insanely large portals towering on top of the sky on fantasy themed pillars of stone and moss and crystal so people could warp their airships into the nether. Maybe a server themed around the Arcane series style world building maybe would be INSANE with all of these addons. Or maybe a Subnautica style, aquatic themed server with all of the submarines, like you could even build docking mechanisms to connect subs to bases, or have escape pods or something (which could open a door potentially to a space-faring addition WAY in the future?)
Scrap Mechanic is one of my favourite games, and seeing these amazing people essentially turn Minecraft into SM is like a dream come true

i've never heard of create mod but from what i'm seeing, this is insane. a fully functioning airplane without slimeblocks or pistons is absolutely ridiculous and I now want to play it.
Create mod as is is amazing, not like this, but incredible. These are addons, you can play the base create mod right now. Highly recommend.
A temporary replacement already exists, called vs clockwork
IKR?! For so long I thought this was impossible- either you had blocks, which can't move like this, or entities, which can't be this complex, but... somehow they've truly added blocks that are not connected to the block grid, with no entities or anything.

And with another future mod you might of not heard of oppenminer is a mod that from what we can see has some of the most realistic explosions nuclear and conventional and has planned create compatibility so cool
This genuinely feels like a dream you have. I've seen elements of these as separate extremely specific mods or "tech demos" but actually unifying all of this into a single framework is. Beyond exciting. I've been playing since 2011 and I don't think I've had my mind blown like this by vanilla or the modding scene before.
Create absolutely blew my mind when I saw it for the first time and you mad lads are somehow cranking up the wow factor even further beyond. I literally can't even imagine how any of this is even remotely possible lmao, you guys are absolute legends and to say I'm hyped for the Create Simulated projects would be an astronomical understatement. Keep it up, guys 👍
Those Ponder scenes showcasing the new blocks are so cool, really gets me looking forward to it all coming out.
I play this game since 2014 and i've always loved doing redstone, i NEVER EVER imagined that we would be getting up to this point in the engineering scope, it's like a dream coming true.
There's mods that adds qol stuff, some new items, blocks, enemies, etc.
There's mods that add entirely new mechanics and quest lines.
And there's Create, which can only be described as Minecraft 2.

I've been following the development of Create Aeronautics ever since I saw the cargo loading ship. I actually had no clue it was part of a bigger project.
A full physics engine in Minecraft that works with Create *and is modifiable when a contraption is running.* Absolutely beautiful. This is giving me ideas for my "everything is a factory" game.
The only thing left I want to see in Create is inverse kinematics. Base Create only has a few simple joint types (1 axis rotational and 1 axis directional iirc), so implementing an IK solver could lead to some pretty goddamn cool contraptions.
You can already do that using computercraft (once simulated comes out atleast)
This project is amazing, I had only heard of aeronautics but to see all of this is crazy! Also, looks like mod compatibility support is a thing for Mekanism which is great :D 6:34

@@Joel-qo6gt OK. They do not fullfill their promises, stole code from VS, can ban you just because you said something that they did not like, they don't moderate their community, they always clean their sins and errors and much more.
Hey polartt, i've gotta say that Create and Create Aeronautics is probably one of the biggest drives in my life right now to study engineering. It used to be legos but i sorta grew out of that. I really appreciated this video you've made for us and now i'm going to find the aeronautics discord server and send thanks

To be honest Create and it's addons this is what saves Minecraft, brings it back to live and give new joy of play. I think it's alredy overgrown Minecraft itself
Ngl.. the devs sound like 13-16 and are probably 10x better in java than i am.. despite me working as a full time software engineer since 5 years now..

One of the biggest gripes i had with minecraft is i couldn't build a large ship that i could actually use. I could never repair shipwrecks to use as my own. All the vehicles i ever built were just glorified floating islands.
With this, I'll no longer have to pretend!

I remember the moon mod from way back when in like 2012, it'll be amazing to see another spaceship mod finally, I'll 100% install that if it's released.

With this, Minecraft becomes a completely different game. In the vanilla game, I feel very limited in what I can do, but Create, and these mods offer so much room for creativity.

Create Simulated project is fantastic, but my biggest gripe with it is that it's Create Addon, and my biggest gripe with Create is that it's a Minecraft mod.
Minecraft provides great platform for developing mods that expand the game, but is flawed when it comes to making unique content. Create addons takes it further -- for example, contraption system could be such a fun concept on it's own, but it's bound to the particular mod. Utlimately we end up with addons for another addon for a game that is quite different in its core. There's so many potential, but it's constrained by the design of the core game and it's technical limitations. In a perfect world, this would become a game on it's own. This happened once and we got Factorio, which got inspired buy early tech mods, and we can see the similarities between Factorio and BuildCraft/IndustrialCraft, but not as much as between Factorio and Minecraft. Unfortunately, making a game require way more effort and time than making a mod, so we end up with what we have today.
I wish best to the Create Simulated project team, and I believe the mods will be awesome when they eventually come out, but they would still be mods bound to a game owned by Mojang.

I have an idea I wish I could share with the dev team. For Offroad, perhaps you could use teams of wolves, pigs, cows, horses, and other mobs to pull carts! One mob can pull a contraption with so many blocks, and uniting them as a team can pull even more!

This is literally how we imagined ships working when we made a boat or plane on the 360 or tablet
I love the attention to detail with the endstone making stuff float. I mean, IT floats, why wouldn't it make other things float? It's so good.
tip: use the clockwork mod and the eureka mod for now, its very similar. you can make cars, planes, blimps, hot air balloons, boats and even more

I love how this mod makes me think of (and is inspiration of) stormworks. Like the magnets, and space aspect that was recently added.
Loved the video @polartt! Can't wait for the next video man! Nice to hear from one of the Team Members Behind the Create Mod Projects. I'll admit that I was kinda Stoked for Aeronautics to come out in Early 2023 but considering how big and Revolutionary that Mod by itself is, it's pretty understandable why the Dev Team would just Hold off on releasing it. Much like what Mojang did to the Caves and Cliffs Update, The Dev Team just wants a Nice Functional and Polished Product to put out for the Community to enjoy.
I've got something of an Ultimate Test for the Mods in mind for the Devs. Using the various Create Mods, with Beeg Yosh's Create Big Cannons Mod as an Option, along with Triode and Crazyakovik's Valkyrien Skies Mods and Talhanation's Recruit Villagers and Villager Workers Mods, you'll have Two Challenges to Look at.
• 1). Create Ships, Aircraft, Tanks and other Vehicles and Equipment from the Past Century or so of Warfare (My Favorite is World War Two) and Conduct Various Military Operations from Land Offensives to Bombing Raids and Air Offensives to even Amphibious Landings like on The Beaches of Normandy or across the Pacific and Even Carrier Warfare against the Pillagers or Amongst yourselves.
• 2). Build up an Interstellar Fleet from any Science Fiction Story that is known, be it Star Trek, Star Wars or even HALO and Fight in Space or in the End.
These are more along the lines of "The Ultimate Stress Test" for the Mods and hopefully not your own Computers. The History Themed Challenge will probably put the Flans Mod Community Server "Tyrants and Plebians" (Check out @MonorisuFilms Channel if you're interested) latest Iteration known as "Hearts of Iron Ore" to Shame or at least provide a decent amount of competition.
Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! A little over the top but it sounds good at least.

The Create mod is my favorite mod for minecraft. Its got so many different add-ons for the mod and a near infinite amount of things to do with it. I can't wait for all the upcoming add-ons for the mod. Its also interesting hearing a developers perspective too

With all those mods combined, you essentially have yourself a sequel to Minecraft in terms of gameplay and progression.
I just hope we get types of defenses as well, imagine combing create with a mod like the parasite mod.

of everything Create has done the lack of mobility, like the Redpower Frames of old was one of my biggest things I missed in Create so this is really something I'm looking forward to
I'm so happy that it is still in progress! Could wait 5 years for this thing!
One of the most thing that amaze technical modded player like me is how worldshell work.
When worldshell assemble, they're "not converted" into entity. Instead, they'll be send to somewhere in the world far away and "replaced" by an interactable projection of that contraption.
With all that, you can build, break, open chest, even multiblock machine and pipe system from other mod should work just fine.
Thank god they have the sense to release in stages...

The airship looks really cool. A playthrough where you arent allowed to settle down and are forced to move sounds really really fun
holy shit, with this create will literally become a 2.0 update to Minecraft, a physics engine would be biggest feature in any minecraft mod or vanilla added to the game since redstone or infinite world gen.

This makes me think of an old project I saw a video of, years ago, don't remember the name tho.
It basically just ran a second instance Minecraft and just rendered it into your first instance. You could actually jump onto the other "world" and interact with it like normal. Though the world did seem to clip through each other still at that stage in dev. The great part about it was that theoretically you could add any mod into it. It seemed to be more like forge or fabric in how it worked tho.

Releasing when your confident is a good thing that devs need to impliment all the time.
Putting physics in Java edition sounds like a nightmare
you clearly haven't played bedrock, there's a reason they don't have hardcore (the player might randomly die)
Java is a really nice language honestly. It can feel slow and chuggy but that really isn't Javas fault anymore. They've given java so many features that could easily make java run as well as bedrock, but developing games in java is not really a thing anymore and i get the feeling they're trying to move completely away from java

@@quakxy_dukx that's how it was. Newer java versions have ways of interfacing directly with the metal (assembly pretty much) and have complete control over the memory. It's just that java minecraft hasnt been given a lot of love since i feel they'd rather have people on bedrock. I was surprised they even bothered upgrading it to the newer java version a little while ago. But simply upgrading the java version doesn't do very much on its own

This is so game changing. Imagine having a server where everybody starts on a different planet and tries to conquer the others with their custom alien airships. Basically Stellaris in Minecraft.
Try not to be mesmerized by the create simulated footage and pay absolutely no attention to the yapping in the background
