It doesn't work because play store asks me to update it, whichisn't possible. Can't enter settings otherwise. You can enter the update menu via the 3 dots on the right corner but the updates stay on "pending"

Do hard reset, and when setup phone do not connect to WiFi network, connect to personal hotspot from other phone and UA-cam will not ask for update
