I'm a woman and you have no idea how hard it is to remove yourself from decades of being trained to think like this and put yourself in a man's shoes. I'm 38, trying to untrain myself from this line of thinking and respect men for the roles they adhere to while we run around bat shit crazy.
We run around what? Girl please get help. Men aren’t sane. It isn’t a male or female issue. However if we are speaking logically, men have the upper hand physically but also socially given men have far more power in society. I do not hate men, I love my husband, my brother, my cousins, my sons and my male friends but this man’s line of thinking is scary and toxic. Men have their struggles but to demonize women for being fearful is a creepy take. My father allowed his friends to creep on me, I was almost kidnapped at 12, I was raped multiple times between age 16 and 20. To say I was and am scared of men is an understatement and any man who would take that personally has something wrong with them. Not to mention “You’re lucky so many men are openly interested.” Is the most insane take on harassment. This is a man I would tell girls and women to avoid at all costs.
He has a point. I don't get uncomfortable when me awkwardly approach me. I often feel humbled. It takes such courage. I am talking about normal men not the creeps.
