I think Dzongsar Khyentse is speaking about Buddhism in general terms, and Dudjom Rinpoche's writings and termas are focus more on Vajrayana practioners. By other hand Khyentse Rinpoche focus on not become like a kind of Law that ignores reason and science, Dudjom Rinpoche's termas explain by reason and through Buddhism Study.
There is no way that Buddhism could actually solve any problems. Buddhism is lovely for sure, but it does nothing. No belief system does. If that ain't heavy, what is?
Nida Chenagtsang : The tobacco sell in western countries contain poison. They never told us till almost recently. But tobacco smoke in some eastern countries does not contain poison. The tobacco smoked by The aborigen American Indians didn’t contain poison either.
