I just started using Power Automate with Power Apps and was using the older PowerApps trigger. I made some mistakes like you mentioned and could not get rid of the mistakes (had to start from scratch each time). V2 is so much easier. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thank you for this video. Very well presented. I've been building flows 2+ years and didn't know about this trigger. I need a user to launch a flow that grants them temporary access to a Sharepoint file, but the flow needs to run under the owner account and not the user's account. The V2 trigger was recommended to do this and your video explained the use of the trigger concisely.
Thanks for making a video about this new update. I wouldn't have found it while using it. I believe the trigger recommendation shows as per popularity (guessing) so hope it changes. The V1 trigger was very annoying though.
Haha omg!, this explains so good what I have been fighting with for least an hour!. Thanks!. But still, right now, I find that I need to re-connect to my Power Automation, in Power Apps, if making input changes in Power Automate.
Thanks for your video. It’s really easy to follow. I am the beginner of power apps. I want to know how can we auto populate a word document from radio button in power apps?
Yes we can. It is explained in my Udemy course "Microsoft PowerApps crash course - from UI to Integration" lecture 60. The good part is that, that lecture has free preview. So even if you don't enroll, you can still watch that lecture :)
Iam having 100 datacards in powerapps created from Sp as form. I want to send mail to user on changes made in some of datacards .. I need to create flow by adding all data cards as variables?
I have a full chapter on how to manage this situation in my next Udemy course. Just message me on LinkedIn and I will send you a free course voucher as soon as the course is out 🙂
Great video...it's, indeed, very informative.. @Alireza -. Can you plz make a video on the issue we experience while picking up DATE to edit form from Excel online (for business). The date picker simply goes blank and it doesn't pick up date from Excel table (date column) while other details from the table appear correctly. Any get around will help many of the people. I got the same issue posted by someone on powerplatform community but none of the answers fixed the issue..
Goodness, that's why I hated the v1 version of this especially when you have a complicated flow request and somewhere along the line you made this same mistake and you have to do the trigger again or simply ignore it.

Thanks for giving the extra knowledge on resetting issues and V2 insertions.
Fantastic explanation Alireza. Thank you
Thank you!!, I could finally pass correct information to PowerAutomate. I wish Microsoft would be clearer about changes on this App.

Very clear explanation.
Why the hell Microsoft is putting V2 at the end of the trigger list.... Thanks for this video it is super helpful!!
Thanks Alireza , please advise how can i pass the record or a collrction from power apps using V2?
Use JSON function in poweapps and convert the record or collection to string. Then pass it as string parameter.
@@AlirezaAliabadi Thank You let me try it
Hello Alireza. How do add an attachment using this process? I am using a data table instead of a gallery and the file is already attached to the list.
When using a large form in PowerApps with the PowerApps V2 Trigger in Power Automate, it is possible to include all the required fields as inputs.

Good info Sir.
Sir, can we not trigger email directly from Power Apps instead of using power automate???
Yes we can. It is explained in my Udemy course "Microsoft PowerApps crash course - from UI to Integration" lecture 60. The good part is that, that lecture has free preview. So even if you don't enroll, you can still watch that lecture :)
@@AlirezaAliabadi Thank you
Is there a way to send and recieve optional paramter?
How do I if i need to pass JSON values to flow using powerappsV2 trigger ?
Thank you very much 👍
Thank you so much.
I can't get V2 to accept more than 2 parameters on the Power Apps side.
