HAIBIKE FLYON TQ MOTOR WITH INCREDIBLE 120 NM TORQUE

- Haibike has this incredible TQ motor with 120nm torque. Much more than the 2020 Brose Mag S with 90nm, Shimano Steps e 8000 has 70nm, the new 2020 Bosch cx gen4 has 75nm and Yamaha 80nm. Had the chance to try it and its impressive. The test bike is the HAIBIKE XDURO NDURO 5.0 6299EURO 27.5 wheels with 180mm X 180mm suspention
Superb video, just before the pandemic I tried so much to get the Haibike All Trail 5.0, sadly wasn't able to buy one as they were out of stock, had to settle for the Adventr 5.0, same frame geometry , only difference was the front forks and the tyres. Haibike UK no longer have the Flyon models available, they've been discontinued.
cool video, i just bought my first electric bike , is haibike xduro allmtn 2.0 and is amazing 🥰
Really happy you got an ebike 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻. Welcome to the family ✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
What a great video! I usually never see ebike videos that show the true ability of the bikes, but you captured it! Those stairs were a good illustration of the TQs power. I've been looking for something faster and more adrenalin pumping than the current Brose/Bosch options...is this it? Any way to delimit and see what the bike can really do? How does the noise level compare to the quiet Brose S?
Thanks so much 🎉. The tq motor is absolutely the most powerful, but the limits of the bike is the big frame and weight but not notable in every situation. On the stairs it felt great but on ruff downhills the weight can be an issue. The noise is more than the brose for sure but for me it's not a problem. If you can, you should ask your dealer to try it 🤟
Nice video,I’m about 300 miles into my haibike xduro allmtn 5.0 and to be honest I didn’t want to spend that much but everything I liked had sold out so I had to get something while I could. The bike looks very nice and I really enjoy riding it but I will say that it really is heavy and would be pointless with anything less than the 630wh battery.I also like the fact I can track where it is and get notified via my iPhone if it’s even moved slightly,oh and the pin to turn on the electric motor 👌🏻
Happy you are enjoying it. Soon you will even have more power on your bosch motor 💪🏻
This is the bike I'm after .Great video but I'd like to see this bike with a 29er up front .My local shop sells them but are out of stock .
Compared to your Trek ride (where you almost ran over kid :)) this ride seemed very rough, hard to control. Which bike did you like best based on this same route?
The flyon has the most powerful motor but it's heavy, downhill trek is much better. Uphill the flyon is the top
looks very capable...
yeah it is!!
I want this to buy now in 2024 but no one offering now a motor with 120 Nm :(
Claudio tell us la verita, its feels slow compared to the others ebikes? Would you buy one for yourself? Graze!
Well i would buy it for the kom's on strava 😂😂. Uphill it's the fastest motor I've ever used. Downhill i didn't really like it because it's heavy and a bit clunky. I love strava so I would buy it but not if it's my only ebike because I love going fast even downhill. But i understand that it could be a very comfortable bike for who loves cruising on trails and needs that extra power uphill 👍🏻
Claudio Paselli io credo is like if you buy that Sur Ron bike for twisty trails ... flyon is a bullet in some situazione and a elephant in others
@@abelramos8652 yes that's true 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Polini power!!! Forza!!!
@@abelramos8652 didn't try that motor yet but hope its powerful!!!
Di dove si puo aquistare secunda mano?io sono da Bucharest 😎
Sweet Bike! :)
It's got a great motor ✊🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@ClaudioPaselli yeah
And a small battery....
@@TheTeophilus its a 630wh battery 🔋. It's not small
TQ motor consumes a lot of energy. Compare a 630 Wh battery with those of 880 Wh and 1050 Wh available with M1 Spitzing Evolution ebike, built with the same TQ motor. And what about Specialized Levo with 700 Wh and Rotwild with 750 Wh, both built with Brose S Mag motor? These are “ big batteries “.
How long does the chain last?
Come va?
hey I have turbo levo already 3000 miles on it 700wh battery 90nm torque. How can I buy flyon in us??
Hy one question , if I brake this engine , does somebody know from where can I buy another engine? And how much a tq 120s cost ? Thanks
I'm obsessed by this bike due to this video 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Happy for that 🎉 🎉
@@ClaudioPaselli Based on your experience, what are the pros and cons of this bike? and what about the autonomy in the eco mode (it should be compared to the mid-level of competitors): is it able to do 50 km with a 1600 mt drop?
@@ClaudioPaselli and most important thing: why you are not posting new video?
@@redriv I'm waiting to try some new e-bikes that i like. This summer i tried 4 but nothing special for a video. If i don't like them, i don't make a video 😏
@@ClaudioPaselli I hope the new Haibike PW-X2 AllMtn 2021 was not included. Despite Flyon is making me crazy, this would be a better choice for my needs 👍
Sadly the flyon bikes are NOT available yet. Possibly the 2021 model year.
Why are they so lacy to get these bikes on the market . I have waited one year...
Yeah that's incredible. I think there's something with the motor. What a pity
how much is this ebike
What's the range?
Not much if you use max power, otherwise it's a 5/10 % more than other's
Claudio Paselli How much is that in km, max and otherwise?
Yeah ,
The bike is amazing but the motor makes to much noise ( in my opinion ).
I have a stormer st 2 and I’m happy with it.
The motor is on believable strong never saw something like this before.
I bet it chews through rear tyres and chain drive
With all that weight i really think so
where is it?
its a place near Vicenza! Do you know the area?
7grand and 1/3 hp how do u measure torque on a ebike when a BMW 1300 road bike has 129fp of torque .so this bike has 3 times more at 120nm of torque think you got your sums wrong,.
Eheheh torque numbers are absolutely rubbish in ebike motors. They are virtual peaks and some manufacturers claim falsely. But in this case Tq claims 120 nm of torque but they are truly the most powerful on the market
@@ClaudioPaselli i think they have about 20ftp of torque at the most if it had a throttle would it pull up any hills I doubt it
@@colinsmith3938 don't know how much it is but for sure it's nothing close to a motorcycle 😀😀😀
Could be wheel torque? That will make it far higher than motor torque.
Well, you should look into torque & HP/KW relation. Horsepower = RPM (multiplied by) torque (divide by) 5,252. Optimistically that means 75Rpm * 120Nm / 5252= +-1700Watts of peak power. Positive and peak power yes, but the numbers are possible.
It’s a very good idea if it ever comes to market. But for 1/2 the cost the Frey AM1000 has more torque and a throttle !!
With a throttle it's not a emtb anymore so it can't go on a lot of trails
Claudio Paselli true but in the case of trail nazis it can be removed without affecting PAS or torque sensing and its available now and not an unobtainable unicorn 🦄 like TQ
very noisy !!! looks a bit on the heavy side !
Yeah it's a heavy bike
120 NM and 25 kmh cut off, LOL
Yeah but uphill on a steep climb it's not easy to go 25kmh 🤘🏻
@@ClaudioPaselli Will this bike do 25kmh (actually 27.5) up most hills?
@@videosforcatsanddogs214 yes uphill it's the fastest but it's even fast to finish the battery 🔋
