One of my guys got a 1971 Impala convertible only about 4600 of them ever made so i know the feeling. We use to cruise that thing all the time in the 90's now he just got it stored those cars are worth grip 💰💯

If you didn’t have Daytons in the 90s-early 2000s and now all you want is Daytons you pretty much a follower.
The og was dropping gems though just clean up the engine bay, get a fresh tuneup replacing vital parts. I would check out the Forgis with the spokes but not gold. Keep the car original looking because like your guy said folks appreciate them more stand out. I have a 88 Caprice Brougham black and all original. I got a fresh new paint job, replaced the headliner, undercoated the bottom, new rally rims and tires. I get so many thumbs up it is so clean inside and out with only 108k original miles i did the carfax. It's your car but please don't chop it up it's a keeper for sure. Oh and i had a 1976 Caprice Landau it ran smoothly like yours but had too much rust so i sold it those cars sail ⛵️ 💯
