- So Gewinner sent me over this lac mic to test out, to tell you the truth I did no what to expect. I think I actually made it worse by editing it...lol

Nice b-roll/intro & review Paul. Was something not setup the way you intended? What happened?😀 * the mic sounded a bit muffled & flat I think. Your regular mic was much clearer imo. Cheers
@@peterviragphoto hi. It’s just a plug and play mic. So not really much to setup. I think I’ll give it one more go when I go out vlogging but….we will see. But I think I just keep doing what I do normally and just use the iPhone’s built in mic. Cheers for watching
@@paulkennedycreativemedia yeah definitely experiment with it, with the placement of it too and see how you go. I’ve fkd up a few times with mine before. Best ever was when I placed the lav on my jumper then put a vest over it, was vlogging for hours like that lol😀😀😃 Nice video nonetheless !
That intro was pure fire!!! Nice comparison video mate. £80 is about $110 USD...not sure I'd pay that much for it. The audio strait out of your iPhone is far better and your studio mic blows it away. The audio level seemed to really drop off compared to your iPhone. I've heard far worse mics but not sure this one is worth the price. Having said that, it would be good to have around in a pinch if you ever needed it. Nice work mate! Hope all is well and you are keeping safe!

Yeah I think it will just be a back up if ever needed but I’ll stay with the iPhone for when I’m out like always. £80/$110 is waaaaay to much for it, plus what makes it worse is that my studio mic was only £20 of eBay 🤣 like I said to Dave from Let’s Click Photography, Lewinner should be paying me for that intro 🤣🤣 cheers for watching and commenting as always and keep safe.

I've heard worse, but for not that much more you can get something by Rode which I think is much better. Great review though and loved the cinematic intro. 😀

Nice intro but I tend to agree with others. I use the Rode smartlav+ and videomic pro, and I can assure you I know nothing about audio, but both do a great job. Great review video though!
I know. It’s definitely not going to win any awards. If they took the price way down then maybe I would of given it an extra point for price but it’s to expensive for what it is. Specially when my studio mic was only £20 of eBay. Cheers for watching
@@paulkennedycreativemedia I didn’t even think about the price but now you remind me that’s like $AUD 150 so yes a tad expensive.
Nice job on the intro Paul but to be honest there didn't seem much difference between the onboard phone mic and the Lewinner. If the dead cat had fitted then it might have been a different story outside.
Thanks Andrew. Yeah for the money I don’t think it’s worth it. Comparing it to my £20 studio mic it’s miles away from sound quality. But….if something should ever happen then maybe use it in a pinch. The dead-cat will be handy for when I’m out vlogging with my phone 😉
Great intro.. I want it! I want it! I want it! 😁 Good comparison and a fair one but not sure it's worth that much, at a lower price point it could be attractive as a back up but when you look at the other plug and play mics like the Rode NT USB which is only a little more
🤣 I think ya made the right decision on the Rode mate. I’m going to do more tests on it to see how it holds up a range test and see if I can connect it to the a7III

Sorry, did you say £7.99 or did I actually hear you say £79.99???? To be brutally honest it sounded like horse sh*t 💩😂looked good in the intro film tho - but LeWinner can’t take credit for that 😜
