With the realism approach of Pes meaning flashy skills are harder, you should do a Neymar skills one although it will be tough to pull off against superstar or legend, but very rewarding.

Sidenote: I know it doesn't fit this video, but maybe you could help me out here. I've discovered that, if a player has both the "Dipping-Shot" and "Knuckle-Shot" abilities, he will always perform a Dipping-Shot when performing a freekick (since the controls are the same for both dipping and knuckle shots). Do you happen to know if there's a way around it? Or am I simply overlooking something or doing something wrong?

There’s ways around trust me just time the acceleration at the right times
The AI DOES know where you are going to go. But ONLY when you hold directional buttons. You can tell because even on legend difficulty if you hold a direction and run with the ball the AI basically sprints directly at you to tackle. However if you completely release all controls when a defender gets close like spoony says you will notice all AI suddenly move towards you much more slowly and cautiously. Because they can’t read what direction you are pressing anymore. That’s why releasing controls is so important for dribbling. Once you realise this even on legend dribbling becomes so much easier
@@dundalis yea but then he stops charging and every player is just still. If I try to dribble opponent is too far away and we lose possesion. So again. No point in dribbling
I’ve literally always dribble slow for the whole game and only use acceleration when it’s needed

Very useful. Of course, Messi is one and only, but we can use these skills for every player. This gets us closer to the players that we watch on our television. Have a nice time and stay safe.
You have made so many great tutorials, but I think this must be one of your best. I learned so much from it, and it has completely changed the way I play and made the matches much more varied. Had trouble taking advantage of Messi, but now I see how to do it. I sometimes wonder why Konami doesn't make instructions on this? I think that more people would enjoy the game, if they knew about this. I just feel so grateful that you care to make tutorials like these. AI don't behave that way when I play, they barge straight towards me... 😭😬
Lol, this was on superstar but it's possible on Legend as well. Just for speed purposes of making video
AI can behave in different ways.
If they barge at you just go opposite direction with or without skills and use their momentum against them.
The timing is hard because if you get it wrong, they'll tackle and get the ball but if you get it right, they will be left behind leaving you lots of free space to push into.

@@unknwn_usr3077 It depends on the team and their tactics and the chosen difficulty. If playing against high pressuring teams and or high difficulty, they will press with multiple opponents. The key is to keep the ball close and not sprint and use shielding to keep the ball away.
@@sanketbalani9672 the higher difficulties make it easier. As they attack or are more aggressive defensively. (See real Madrid game for example, that was only game on legend, rest on superstar) but both difficulties good for aggressive AI behaviour

This is why PES is so much better than Fifa imo player ID...It use to be PES signature but in recent years Konami have ignored this sadly, you can still use player ID in the edit mode to get players moving how they do irl .

@@SpoonyPizzas not sure I agree. I've played pes since winning eleven 5. Fifa dows have some player ID. Messi feels very Messi-esque as well as other players. You have to play Fifa a whole lot to notice this and appreciate the positives the game offers. PES used to be miles above Fifa in gameplay, however this has changed over the years with the stiff and robotic pes movement, and samey type goals, tackles, animations, etc..

Hey dude, it takes months of practice. Just hone one skill over and over....then learn the next. You gotta remember I play this game 4-6hrs a day.

Hey man wanted to tell you that you are really good in this game and i wanted to ask a question. Do you use sprint dribble for changing direction? If not then please explain it to me in replies because i did not understand the video, it would be really nice of you if you replied!
@@K.UHow-to hey dude, it's a mix of sprint and finesse controlled dribbling (R1 or R2 - whatever you use to finesse shot). Now tie that in with "glide dribbling - tutorial also on channel and you'll be smashing it! I hope this clears it up for you. If it's not quite what you're after, explain what you mean by sprint dribble?

Hy spoony love your Videos and i think this kind of dribble is missing in efootball... the player are not so quick the little turns and faints and the short reaction time for changing directions.. is a thing i miss in efo i mean is much better now but sometimes i seems that the ball in efo is not on the foot of the player .. i hope they create an handling of the game simular to pes 2021 but with the good points of efo then i think dribble is perfekt

What graphics card and CPU would you recommend in anticipation of PES 22 and Unreal Engine?
Difficult to say but... by purely guessing... 1070 gtx or better. As for CPU... doesn't have to be quad core.. and purely gaming budget CPU will do fine like Ryzen 3300X. I believe it'll be far better optimised on Unreal.

No. This is a scoreboard mod for La Liga. La Liga are partnered with EA hence the extra realism on the replay logo

Special control and sprint to shield the ball, special control doesn't do anything unless a player has just received the ball for a special touch/control.
Also, the special control button makes it so you don't push the ball forward too much. You move slowly

Dribble diagonally. Watch your opponents players momentum (focus on them, not your player). Now add in skills and a mix of sprint R1 and R2 (to turn quickly)

Why do you tap R2 and what's the use of pushing L3?
R1 and R2 to shield. R2 when recieving for a special touch/control. L3 is nothing.
Hello Victor, Spoony's R1 and R2 are inverted. He prefers it that way. For a normal PES player, you use R2 for a controlled/finesse shot, but for Spoony, it is R1.
Always have that in mind when watching his videos.

Do you use auto feint on or off?
I flick between the two. Off gives you a little more control and easier access to difficult skills like R9. Whereas on makes skills easier in general and quicker to perform

Hey Spoony, wanted to ask you, can you please do a video about the player skill cards(the ones that can be chosen in the player editor). I mean most of them are pretty self explanatory, but with others, I always felt like I don't really know what they actually mean or what exactly they do in the game. For example, I mean I basically know what step on ball controls are, but I feel like every player in PES can do them(for example if you use the right stick finesse dribbling they do it often), as they're pretty basic. What's the difference if a player has that skill card(or whatever we want to call it)?
Also some Skills are named weirdly, for example I noticed that with "Flip-Flap" they mean the Elastico. But what the fuck are the "Cut Behind and Turn" Skills? Again I understand the words and have an image, but I feel like every player can do them. What are the special skills they try to address here, that you can only do if you have that skill card?
Also I've never had the feeling that a player with the "No look pass" skill card actually did a no look pass, is it useless? ^^'
A video with explanations and footage of the actual use in the game would be awesome. Also I've searched and didn't find any video out there that explains that, so I figure there are others with the same questions and the video would be a first to really explain it well. :D

@@bengszy8124 Almost all the famous players have Player ID - also players who are not famous for their agility/ dribbling skills - like Pogba. He is so true to life! Even a lot of bronze and silver players have their own unique style. There are so many gems hiding in those bronze and silver players. It's a shame many people don't realize.
