Yo zafaris, Weiyi here. Oh my gosh you made a splendid video! A very detailed and fun summery of our second year. TBH, this year is the time that all of us trying to find the direction of our careers. We do projects, prepare for interviews and apply for interns, what a term. No matter what, I'm glad that majority of us've got decent enough marks for this year so that we can finally rush for First Class for the final year, despite the lack of mark for logic exam due to the boycott, bruh. Overall, appreciate your work and also your living style. In second year I also tried to be more outgoing and attend social events include societies or public events as much as I can, but considering how much resource we can get in UCL, London, I think I should attend more events and be better. We all know that the final year will be the end game, and our 3-year effort will come to an conclusion for this year, but nothing stops us having good life and be better.👍

I am also CS Major and currently 2nd year this sem i also had Software Engineer and DBMS,DAA mine also 3 year BSc. You are lucky you have so much opportunities for internships but here in my country it’s so hard to get one

There are definitely enjoyable parts of the CS course! The maths and theory is quite a step up from A-Level maths, so it definitely helps if you’ve done further maths. For the coding modules, you should be fine cause you’ve programmed before :)

And I am very worried that I will not pass mathematics, since there was no futher mathematics at my school. Is there any chance that I will be transferred to the second year if I fail one exam? I am in my first year of a levels doing bio chem and maths and thinking of doing computer science. I am doing some coding at home such as python. Do you think I will be okay in uni without computer science a level and what advice would you have for me?
Hey! It’s definitely possible as many people I know (including me) didn’t take CS for A levels. My suggestion would be to focus more on maths as this is crucial for CS, as well as learning programming basics through online resources - Harvard CS50, freecodecamp, UA-cam tutorials. You got this :)
I managed to get internships in both 1st and 2nd year, and switching to BSc allows me to go into industry 1 year earlier. I also might do a masters in the future at a different uni.
