Bruh, I literally spent like 2 days modding my game, played it like twice and then this rolls out. I've been looking for hours to see if I can go back to a previous version, it's not looking good for me
I've literally just woken up, logged on, saw it was updating and i was going to stop it, got distracted THEN i got this video notification, and it had already downloaded 😂welp..
😂 he actually said beh-thees-da, but that's still 😂 considering it's an american company with american executives and american employees who speak american dialect with an american-american accent
I did my due diligence on this one, still got updated. I suspect my update settings in steam would just go back to default automatically for some reason, because after the update I couldn't change update setting. Now....I completely backed up my entire game, mods and all, I reverted my game back and my SKSE is still broken. That has never happened to me before.
I think maybe you have updated Skyrim to version 1.6.1130. Not all mods work with this new update. This could be what the reason is. lemme know if this is the case.
How do I play skyrim without using steam to start the game? everytime I click on the game directly from my pc screen it says that the game is starting through steam.
Aww man I feel for ya 😭If only I knew the update was coming sooner.. I scrambled as fast as I could once I saw it queued for an update I was like nooo they did it again... I must tell the plp!
@@CactusBagel1979 True. I forgot to change the auto-update setting on steam. Good thing though that the mods I currently have are less than a hundred. I would've given up modding this game if I'm in the hundreds.
I was repairing my files and it auto downloaded I think now I have to wait for my mods to be updated or wait for a downgrader patch to the version before this update
@@NebulousTwist Yes this is possible there are ways to downgrade the Skyrim version to earlier builds. This Software is available on the nexus. Its just a hassle to have to go through all of this when you can save the time and just change the setting in steam.

Why would they bother updating the game so late..
Just to fuck with the modding community?
basicly, yeah

so convenient of my algorithm to show me this first now
Thank you Bethesda for ruining my game and rearranging my mods. That was so helpful
I'm very glad I already set it to only download when launching... because otherwise I'd be in trouble now XD

Fortunately saw after my internet was restored but before Steam could do any shenanigans. Thank you!
So glad to hear!
For now not only do I have that setting but I also turned Steam to Off-Line mode as with my new PC I only have Skyrim installed.
Haha yeah thats one way to do it!
i just downloaded skyrim. And did your tutorials for modding it, but now it crashes & doesnt work. and my brain is hurting xD

Too bad I didn't see this video when the update happened. Luckily I found a solution to fix my game and removed this crap update.
How did you fix it
Very nice

Downgrade patch to the version before this update? Is that even possible
