Something else to keep in mind is the Ori ship is basically powered by the Stargate version of evil Q's thru the Prior at its helm.
Just to nitpick, the only time we saw Ori go up against Asgard shielding was against a scout ship (of indeterminate fate) and those installed on a BC-304 in haste without enhanced power generation, and it still tanked several shots. Judging by that I'd say it fairly certain that an O'Neill or Beliskner would wipe the floor with an Ori toilet seat I mean warship without much trouble.

Yeah the Ori seemed unstoppable. I mean Cam Mitchell was nearly killed on the Odyssey during that mission in the movie "The Ark Of Truth". I really wish they had made a release to home video movie to tie up loose ends for SGU. The way how it ended I'm NOT satisfied with it. I refuse to come up with ways to think for myself whether or not either Eli was able to get the pod repaired, or if he died and the crew never woke up because they stopped short of the next galaxy or what... NO NO NO NO NO. I wished they had also done a movie for Stargate Atlantis. I was SOMEWHAT satisfied with how it ended. I do also know that Joe Flannigan (John Sheppard) was trying to buy the rights to SGA so he could save it and continue it himself with the cast and presumably bring the creators Brad Wright and such on board too. Unfortunately the studio execs would NOT budge on it...which really was a let down. Anyway regarding this battle...not surprised the Ori ship inflected so much damage on the E-F. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped seeing how much damage the Ori ship caused to the F. Your strategy of warping out, cloak and make repairs was a wise move. Even when playing as the Ori ship my eyes widened and jaw dropped with how much damage you caused to that. The Ori beam weapon is definitely a pretty powerful weapon. That HAD to have been a weird glitch at the end lmao.
Same, it was such a disappointing ending for SGU. Atlantis was my absolute favourite series. Although SG1 was very close behind. Apparently the actor who played Eli stated recently, he knows how the show was going to end, but he's staying tight lipped. An Atlantis movie would have been incredible, pretty sure it got canceled. Whoa, I never knew Flannigan had tried buying it. The ORI are so powerful. That beam is nuts! I think Federation shields would struggle with it. 🖖
@@RetroBadgerGaming Atlantis was my favorite series as well and same for SG-1 being close behind. Hmm interesting about the actor who played Eli knowing how SGU was supposed to end. Not surprised to be honest. It sucks he's being tight lipped about it. I wonder if it was going to end badly...maybe that's why he's being tight lipped. Yeah there were talks of an Atlantis direct to home video movie. There was also another SG-1 movie that revolved Jack O'Neill. I think both did get canned when MGM ended up declaring bankruptcy. I too really didn't know about Joe Flannigan trying to save SGA until he talked about it in I think a podcast interview. Agreed with Federation shields would struggle with the Ori beam weapon. Anything that fires STL needs to lead their target: Phasers, Disruptors, Plasma beams, Poleron, Lasertorpedo (BSG, Star Wars)...the only ones I'm aware of that are FTL are Tachyons. Phasers are the fastest beam weapons I've seen in Star Trek, and we know from TOS they can be outmaneuvered by someone hyperaccelerated. So I feel the Ori weapons which on screen are far slower than phasers should be slower, and dodgegable. 2) There was a comment about Federation shields vs conventional weapons. Why would you say federation shields don't deflect physical weapons well? We know they can reflect incoming high speed capsules Torpedo weapons are reduced 80% in Star Trek Online except for Transphasics. The only collisions I remember were in Voyager (I'm including the one with those winged snake guys the Nova Class had captured) and the introduction of the Jem Hadar. I think in Star Wars and Star Gate you see more damage from collisions.
The hallowed Ori (I'm gonna call it signet class) signet class if the Ori went and popped on over to the trek verse and went full dominion style bajorans in the delta quadrant they could overpower the borg and use the borg to strengthen their faith source and build borg tech ori vessels the galaxy would be smoked as they wouldn't need to rely on the transwarp conduits as they would be able to fully move at that speed at transcendental transwarp close to the speed of the mind the traveler and wesley are capable of deflectors that act more like shields, really thick shields and there would be no ark of truth to hinder the Ori
@RetroBadgerGaming that's what I used to do in kobyashi Maru it's like a tactical. You basically go on helm inset a destination like versuiv system warp . Then hopefully a chase will begin or even getting a bit of repairs then warping back
And just think...4-6 beam shots from a daedalus without a ZPM with rip through those Ori shields and destroy the ship. with a ZPM it can actually down one in 3 shots.
yeah there is no contest. The Ori ship is just far too strong. Its beam was able wreck Asgard shields. Combine that with Federation/empire warp cores tendency to breach at the drop of a hat and its game. I don't think even the Borg could deal with the raw power output of an Ori ship.
The Ori battleship isn't anywhere near that fast or maneuverable at sublight. Combined with the starfleet massive advantage in sensors and the battle should be very one sided, the Odyssey class ship pecking away at the Ori ship from beyond the latter's useful sensor range. Kind of like the TOS episode balance of terror once Kirk figured out the limits of his enemy.
They tanked firepower from a fleet of ships including an O'Neall class. Then a Hatak was rammed into one which didn't even scratch it. Their main weapon could one-shot Hataks, and cripple Tau'ri vessels with a handful, their secondary weapons while not as potent could shred other vessels with ease. In short, Ori vessels have greater feats than the Scimitar from Trek.
If you watched the series..the upgraded Asguard beam weapons in 3 burst would destroy Ori motherships..another truth showing how weak Star Trek weapon platforms are..
Complete b.s. Ori motherships are MUCH slower than this and the F should have been at least as fast as the Odyssey. Additionally, Federation shielding is FAR superior to even Asgard shielding. The Asgard beam weapons BLEW UP an Ori mothership in only 5-6 bursts. This means the F should have carved it up only using its phasers in a fairly short time. The Ori is overpowered on its beam weapon, about 2x on its maneuverability and something like 4x on its shields.
GUYS. The Terran Empire collapsed decades before the Enterprise-F. The collapse was documented in Deep Space Nine! This is crappy writing, pandering that doesn't make sense. And don't even get me started on the Ori, from a completely different franchise. Two ships from two different franchises, one of whom shouldn't even exist, in combat for no reason besides a lame attempt to satiate someone's lust for violence.
if u really get into the lore of Stargate and the Ori.... those ships are "invented" by beings that reside on the same level As Q..... no matter how many Enterprise E u throw at them .... thats not even a contest man... its a massacre also the level of technology between Stargate and The Federation is hilarious.... ofc the feds got replicators but they still limited to warp 9.975 ... Voyagers course back home (without utilizing Wormholes and other "exotic" ways) was projected to be 75years... Humanity in Stargate traveled 2.700.000 Light Years in 18 days... Tau'ri BC-304: It is known that this class can traverse the distance between the Milky Way and Pegasus in 18 days. This equates to 1.929 light-years per second. Voyager would have needed at warp 9.975 (constantly) at least 25,68years to get back the 75000 Lightyears ( and would have burned out their Warp Coils at least 15 times if they even could sustain such a Speed for that time) so their shields and weapons being superior to Ori Ships (which were designed by literal Gods........ nah ..... not even close
Hilariously, Trek only needs 1 Galaxy class or 1 Intrepid class starship to destroy the Ori. That's right. Given Q's abiding interest in and love of their captains... it would take about 2 nanoseconds for them to experience a total existence failure. Don't name drop Q-like beings unless you want Q to show up to play. The technology in star gate was extremely maleable in order to serve whatever the writers demanded that week. Hey lads, we going to Pegasus this week. Uh, how far is that? Who cares, just say it took 18 days LETS GOOOOO! There isn't a lot of legitimate thought for it.
Maybe but trek also invented shit to serve an episode narrative Both franchises pull shit out of their pants like gravity plating or shipwide inertial dampeners both have no theoretically workable counterparts If U take both franchises at face value my original point stands And ofc. in this clip the feds lay waste to the Ori. It's a trek game after all
Also how they managed to fly that far in such a short time was because the intergalactic drive they used was invented and build by a race with 100.000 years of history and those dudes were effectively immortal if U discount for the genetic issue they faced after millenia of cloning themselves
Suggestion for a new ship: USS Ark of Truth, armed with a huge spotlight that automatically causes Ori ships to stop fighting. 😛

Have you ever tried to warp to another system for a chase or even starbase 12
Occasionally, it usually results in a crash. I'll try it in a future video though 🖖
@RetroBadgerGaming that's what I used to do in kobyashi Maru it's like a tactical. You basically go on helm inset a destination like versuiv system warp .
Then hopefully a chase will begin or even getting a bit of repairs then warping back
Hey what version of bridge commander is this? How can I get it? Thanks
Star Trek Bridge Commander Kobayshimaru with the Stargate V3.0 ship pack. It's all on gamefront 🖖
How about going aginst The Lexx......
And just think...4-6 beam shots from a daedalus without a ZPM with rip through those Ori shields and destroy the ship. with a ZPM it can actually down one in 3 shots.
Hallowed are the Ori!
yeah there is no contest.
How about the Bentusi?
How about death star vs Borg
Great as all ways RB 👏
Thanks buddy! How was the holiday? 🖖
What is the most powerful feat that we have seen Ori warships perform in the show?
They tanked firepower from a fleet of ships including an O'Neall class. Then a Hatak was rammed into one which didn't even scratch it. Their main weapon could one-shot Hataks, and cripple Tau'ri vessels with a handful, their secondary weapons while not as potent could shred other vessels with ease.
In short, Ori vessels have greater feats than the Scimitar from Trek.
Ori versus Species 8472?
Um Ori only had the beam and not THAT beam and it wasn't green.
what game is it?
The Ori ships used zero point energy, it is near limitless energy.
Husnock war ship vs Ori ship.
the inquiry/voyager hull was never an enterprise
You did not account for Ori plot armor🤣🤣
Ori looks funny but it powerful as f
I trink the game crashed because even it knew that win would never happen.
Put them up against the borg
Borg cube vs Ori..
Resistance is futile
Basically, the original won. You increase your shields...which is cheating
If you watched the series..the upgraded Asguard beam weapons in 3 burst would destroy Ori motherships..another truth showing how weak Star Trek weapon platforms are..
"Nope, ONLY Stargate *FANBOY DEFENSIVE /OFFENSIVE* systems... Similar to Star Waries Hijinks....
...That is the worse reskin I have ever seen. You want a proper mirror skin, go look at STO's Mirror Yorktown.
In other words, computer controlled ships are trash.
Nope . Star Trek Ships are trash, sure.... but not at this level !!
Hallowed are the Ori
also
BADASS are the Ori
Hallowed are the Ori...
if u really get into the lore of Stargate and the Ori.... those ships are "invented" by beings that reside on the same level As Q..... no matter how many Enterprise E u throw at them .... thats not even a contest man... its a massacre
also the level of technology between Stargate and The Federation is hilarious.... ofc the feds got replicators but they still limited to warp 9.975 ...
Voyager would have needed at warp 9.975 (constantly) at least 25,68years to get back the 75000 Lightyears ( and would have burned out their Warp Coils at least 15 times if they even could sustain such a Speed for that time)
so their shields and weapons being superior to Ori Ships (which were designed by literal Gods........ nah ..... not even close
Maybe but trek also invented shit to serve an episode narrative
Both franchises pull shit out of their pants like gravity plating or shipwide inertial dampeners both have no theoretically workable counterparts
If U take both franchises at face value my original point stands
And ofc. in this clip the feds lay waste to the Ori. It's a trek game after all
Also how they managed to fly that far in such a short time was because the intergalactic drive they used was invented and build by a race with 100.000 years of history and those dudes were effectively immortal if U discount for the genetic issue they faced after millenia of cloning themselves
the ori,, would kick any ships ass in startrek...
Hallowed are the Ori!
