I'm a guy, but I really enjoy seeing the various things people enjoy and keep in their bags! (The tea pouch is class, I'm going to make one up for my backpack 💯) Always exciting to hear when people are getting more into reading - I'm currently about to finish Ithaca by Claire North and would recommend. I also highly recommend Piranisi by Susanna Clarke, Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone by Benjamin Stevenson, and The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes.

I have a tea pouch too. There’s a few of my favourite teas with a small teaspoon and a tiny honey bottle. It’s the best thing I’ve added to my work bag.

Omgggggg I love what you said about not caring for logos because I recently got into that as well, now that I’m in my 30s I stopped caring about designer handbags/luxurious handbags, I love the clean no logos handbags like you said it’s all about the shape of the bag 💖💖💖

Hi from Carol in the uk. Your bag is a quilted bag as a seamstress I used to do quilted jackets for harrods many years ago. I also have a quilted jacket. The quilted material are usually waterproof. So your bag is waterproof.

You may not want to block out the Kate Spade because it will hold its value and that's probably why your hubby wanted you to have it because it's a well made quality bag. It's an investment bag because of the maker. It's ok to have well made items especially a purse because it's something we ladies use so much. I notice my husband is so proud of himself if he buys me a nice quality purse. For them it's about being able to give such a prize to the one they love. Sometimes humility comes woth accepting something we may not necessarily want or would spend the money on as frugal wives. Give him props by showing it off! But it's your decision I'm just saying what I've experienced.

No no no do not cover the Kate Spade label!!!! Kate Spade bags were made by a wonderful person, who has passed in a very sad way. You should return it if you are going to destroy it. Many people would die for a bag like this. Just get something you will like. I’m sure hubby will understand. It’s a light back cause it’s a puffer bag. These are light comfortable bags.

I am with you not liking name brand. I usually put gaff tape over the brand name to hide the name and it looks kinda grungy too. Win Win! That way if you want to resell the sharpie will not de-value it. Just saying... ❤
