Sorry about your crash. Wish you a fast recovery. Awesome! You are the first to review the Scultura Endurance 2021 hands on, on UA-cam. The cable routing is awesome. A great bike missing only 2 components which they could borrow from sister company Specialized. The Aerofly Riser handlebars and Roubaix shock. These 2 additions would make this the perfect bike for road and gravel endurance.
Thanks for the video. I would love to hear a report on the bike paths in Poland, and bike camping in Poland.I want to do a Baltic tour and the Eagle's nest trail. Are the paths generally well marked? Will the path just end and leave one to cycle on a big scary road? What are the camping rules? Is it like Sweden, where camping is allowed as long as one is out of sight of the house. What months is it reasonable to bike camp, are camping facilities open most of the year? FYI: Poleferry let's one take a bike for no extra cost from Nynäshamn Sw to Danzig Pl.
Enjoy your knowledge videos very much. But do you have some videos on noise from drivetrain? When I put pressure on pedals biking upwards on a steep hill I get a "hrrr, hrrr" sound somewhere from either the pedals, frontgear, derailleur or maybe the cassett. I don't get the noise anywhere else. Just on steeper hills. Not even when I use the brakes and put pressure the pedals. Got some idea?
I just bought the 6000 2021 and am concerned to see the rear wheel tool isn’t as snug as I would like it. Is this normal? And can’t find any info on the correct way to remove wheels with the tool.
Don’t they own 49% of specialized? Their bikes are designed in Germany anyway. But I’m sure some of that expensive specialized tech made its way to Merida also…
It's a good question. I think maybe the geometry of frame and/or the tires are different. I think the gravel bikes come with GRX shifters while endurance bike is generally with road style shifters like tiagra, 105 or ultegra. The endurance bikes are designed for long rides of challenge. The Gravel bikes are designed mostly for different surfaces of road.
Looks nice :) . Tbh not sure why additional cooling is needed - brake pads has radiators (which kinda is a direct place where heat is generated) and fancy rotors with ice-tech technology and wings. IMHO it is a pure marketing + look (which I personally do like) + some extra grams of aluminium :)
I hate disc brakes too it’s just a way for bike shops to Make money for disc brakes Maintance repairs. Unfortunately all the good bikes are going disc. only canyon and giant have a range of disc and rim bikes
Best bang for your buck. Best valued endurance bike in the world.
I have both Merida Silex 200 and Speeder 500... Excellent Build quality and cycling experience. Cheers from India !
I have a scultura 6000. I love the hydraulic disc on it. Very confident and sure footed braking while rolling downhill at speed.
hope to see more Kitec in your videos.
also, thanks for the review of the bike!

David Arthur was the first to review this bike hands on
@@highfived Nope, he reviewed the Reacto and did a 1000 mile review of the same on OCT 4, check out his vlog.
I know my Meridas
Merida such awesome innovated bikes for 2021!
it would be good to get your comments on this one vs the Giant Defy, if you have ridden one. Thank you for putting this video out

Wow
What's the weight of this bike, in this configuration?
Nice bike:)
Only 2 things are beautiful colors in this video:
- the red on the bicycle
- the black on the cat.

Cool vlog. What is the true weight of this?

Your cat looks like mine haha. Nice colour and did you weight it Danny?
can that stem be swapped out or is it proprietary?
Whats the weight on this one? (Yes I know weight is not super important).
8kg’s
Super sweet red bike! But is fucking expensive.
www.merida-bikes.com/en-gb/bikefinder/tag/scultura-endurance-265 that’s uk but not like a 5-6k plus bike
MERIDA scultura endurance 6000 or van rysel edr cf ultegra
so you ride it like a gravel bike?

It is tapered headtube?
try routing yeoleo r12, took me 2 full days just to get them in the handlebar loool
Err... what's the difference between the gravel and endurance bike?
One letter. Endurance.....F.....Gravel.

10:50: What does the cooler do: cool the brakes?

Wich size would you recommend for 185 cm tall and 87 cm inside leg?. Thanks.
You're within 1cm of me and I've always had large framesets (58cm)
Large. Same as me
There is a size selector on Merida webpage. You have to know your body height, leg length, arm length, and preferable riding style. That's it.
Wish I have money for bike like that
Disc brakes for gravel and mtbs.
Exactly my thought!
Then I brought a road bike with hydraulic disc brakes. :)
Is this bike fast ?
No. This one is parked as you can see. 0 km/h
🐈
Cat!
What happened with your voice
hangover
Disc brakes sucks 🤮
