Very tragedic and we all empathise but I can guarantee you that they were advised and warned not to acquire land or even build within a certain distance or radius from the dam due to potential situations as this.
We build everywhere until unfavourable and destruction as this. Its not a pleasant situation at all. Their hard earned effort just gone. Hmm
