Hi lelek! I rewrote/reworded small parts of your song for it to make more sense and improve the overall lyrics! Let me know if you would like me to reach out to you and how I can :)
I hope this one wins Dora because everythin else will be lost in a sea of same songs without chills. this one makin me chill from the start im glad u reacted the same
This one's one of my favorites of this year's DORA. They just need to work hard on staging and make real sure their live performace compares to this one.
@@esc.norway That's really hard to tell. Croats, for some reason, push for the other contestant: Ogenj - Daj, daj (you might react to that one as well) 😄 but that one, in my opinion, is too Baby Lasagnish. There's one BL, no need for another one. Plus, I don't think one shoud go for the same concept two years in a row. Another good one from this year's Dora is Magazin -AaAaAAA (might be worth reacting to).
Thank you! Girls from Lelek are amazing. Send hello to Gåte. They got robed last year, i have voted for them. Could you react also at Ogenj - Daj,daj. They are beside Lelek one of my favorites for this years Dora.❤
Thank you for reacting Lelek's song for this years Dora for Croatia! One question: Do you mind if you could react a song from Marko Bošnjak called ''Poison Cake''? That would be awesome if you can react it! Thank you, again, for reacting this song for Dora 2025! Greetings from Croatia! ❤
Bošnjak has more support from international ESC fans than from Croatia - here, he isn't even the no. 1 Marko among the contestants 😂 (the competition among Markos is strong this year)
From the interview: The song "The Soul of My Soul" was created specifically for Dora and the Eurovision Song Contest. The authors, Filip Lacković and Tomislav Roso, paid close attention to crafting a project worthy of recognition-one that we can be proud of if it makes it to the European stage. With that in mind, our expectations are high. We hope that together, we have created something unique and intriguing. Although we aspire for our work to be recognized on a European level, we were mindful of how we incorporated ethno elements. For the European audience, we did not fill the entire song with ethno sounds but rather added an authentic touch through elements of traditional polyphony. It will be very interesting to see how the Croatian audience reacts to an ethno performance in English, as well as how Europe will embrace elements of Croatian culture and tradition within a modern musical setting.
I felt it was going to be more traditional and the lyrics are a patchwork of random phrases … that (as a native English speaker) are a little jarring (where are the definite and indefinite articles?). As an overall “product” it is quite acceptable. Adiemus, the Balkans are coming for you!
This song has nothing to do with the war in Gaza. Croatian and Balkan traditional and ethno music is often infused with themes of human suffering and religious acceptance of life. It's a part of our cultural heritage and musical expression.
@@dj_nikolado some research first. The song is actually about Palestine girl who died on her grandfathers arms during bombing of Gaza and he called her soul of his soul...

you guys are amazing!!! rooting for you
Please, sing in Croatian! ❤
molim vas da napravite scenski nastup kako se spada jer ovo ce bit tolko bolno da ne ode na eurosong morate bit savrsene na dori da pobijedite...❤
this song reffers to a little girl from Gaza that died and her grandpa was holding her on his hands and called her soul of my soul
that is heartbreaking
She was killed in November 2023. In December 2024 he was killed.
And that could be a problem if they win Dora. Politics are not allowed on ECS. Israel had to change the text of their song three time last year.
Right after I heard that child toy sound in the beginning I knew it must be about it. Damn powerful and vocals are spot on.
Da s ovim cemo super proci🤣🤣🤣🤣padamo kad stranci shvate rijeci pjesme ,bit

This is the one who could do great job, but, staging and backdrop must be on the point
true

This is my overall favorite from DORA, but it's about the war and Gaza victim which may be a problem.
