NINTENDO ANNOUNCED MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK LEGACY COLLECTION FOR SWITCH, PS4 AND STEAM IN 2023
Loved the first 3 ❤❤❤ didn't think much of the rest but finished and kept them out of love for the series.
Now we're getting a legacy collection of this legendary series!! My childhood is back!!
It's a game where it made my childhood.
"Battles are meant to be more tactical to rather than reliant on reflexes or hand eye coordination."
Meanwhile the shot being played is of a player doing a very hard dodge that takes reflexes and coordination.
The hammer virus attacks are not hard to dodge at all, they take minor timing/reflexes at most.
When attacks aren't specifically telegraphed highlighted spaces, they're performed by generic enemies that do not pose much of a threat and which have 2 simple attack patterns at most. It's easy to learn and play around once you have tools.
Seriously. Especially when fighting the post game bosses. This series was definitely harder than the original NES MM games.
I wept for joy for the legacy collection announcement I loved this franchise and have been hoping and praying for a reboot I’m so happy they made the franchise
And now, with Legacy Collection looming around the corner in April with confirmed internet connectivity for NetBattles, this will be bigger and more accessible than ever. I can't wait!
Nobody talks about the originality that this is supposed to be a horror game, which makes me confused and wondering if thats what we get and what does it looks like
I actually relieved that this was the final outcome, im not generally fond of horror games.
Guess what? We're probably gonna get this esport scene back, now that MMBN is on PC
As a kid this deff a horror game
Did Megaman Starforce's combat system have a PvP component, and if so, did it ever catch on?
Im in a server about it. I played one game online, got absolutely rekt. I resigned from playing online after that, the meta was... _optimized,_ to say the least.
my brothers, it is time
I didn’t even know this game has PvP.
Hello I love Megaman Battle Network
Wait so this game was made to be played using a Heart Monitor? on GBA?
Thats kinda awesome.
So what your saying is ranked mode is gonna be sweaty and I have no chance? Lmao
Pokémon is en esport that was on gba
"It's game that was released for the Game Boy Advanced"
I'm sorry but I cannot like this minor speaking mistake slide.
I mean... Do you consider Pokemon not to be an "esport"?
@@theonejackal89 To be fair, it was played competitively well before that, but the dedicated community was very small before Gen 4.
I'm not an expert, but I think the pokemon tournaments move up through the console generations as new games are released. the esports part of pokemon is solely focused on the newest games. I don't see tournaments for anything before SwSh.
battle network on the other hand, can only be played on the gameboy advance. any tournament run today needs to be played on gameboy advance, so that's probably why it's the only one considered "played on GBA". this may change later with the switch port though.
@@thekenyonsquad5672 Well, it's funny you mention that.
*Official* events do move up through the generations, but tournaments are ran regularly for older generations... on simulators. Smogon and Pokémon Perfect come to mind.
That said, I think the phrase "The only esport played on GBA" is, more or less, accurate. Even if it is emulated for BN, people don't run (old) Pokémon tournaments using the original games at all, not that I'm aware of anyway.
😭😭😭
It’s game, boy, advance, not game boy advanced
One of the most disrespected fighting games of all time, and probably the most wrongfully-hated Sonic game ever made. The game’s animation alone is ahead of its time (The expressions! the squash and stretch!) and captured the classic Sonic era in 3D better than anything that came afterwards.
Im sorry...W H A T?! MMBN was intended to be a horror game? Impossible. The ".EXE" anybody is thinking of is a creepypasta of a demon program of Sonic (A.K.A. Sonic.EXE). However, that was in the 2010s. But the MMBN series was made in the 2000s and no where does it say in the wiki that MMBN was intended to be a horror game.
First
Yugioh doesn’t exist I guess
😭😭😭
😭😭😭
If capcom allows the online features in the legacy collection, it will probably make the esports even bigger than it is now.
Edit: they recently announced they are working on online battling and chip trading.
Good NEWS 🎉🎉🎉
It sold a million in its first month
