I camped in Pinedale for a week in June and loved it…I definitely plan to go back and hike around this area! It will not disappoint. Hiking was outstanding. Well, everything is outstanding there. ;) Don't miss booking a day cruise with Major Marines in Kenai Fjords. That was mind blowing.
Some of these photo views are knocking my Sox off! Many times I can imagine printing a still of some of them for posting on your walls for long term admiration. I realize wall space is at a premium so it’s good that you have your memories captured in these videos of yours. Thanks for sharing!
Yet, another beautifully done video of your awesome adventures. I always enjoy the soundtrack that you put in your videos. When I happen to hear one of these songs elsewhere, I always think of you two and the fun you have living life to the fullest. I would like to know what the music is that is playing while you are along the river and the rafters go by before you point out square top mountain? It's instrumental and perfect for your videos like all of your other song choices. Thanks for all you do to take us along on your adventures.
We will be in the Wind River range at the beginning of Sept and thought maybe do a day hike out of where you started or since it's just a day hike, maybe go along that beautiful lake you ended on.
Great hike! I've only driven through the Wind Rivers and found it truly beautiful! Wondering if you're still loving that S to S Sil nylon poncho? It looked so sodden when you were in it. Course, quicker drying, multi purpose, ultra lite. Does it actually function as rain protection, or how long till it wets out ~ ? And, there's the poncho tarp one and the other...which is yours? Thanks and I really love following along your adventures. I'm 64 and still hiking long distances also. And my name is Kerry too!
