In our previous house we had a tall tree where there were dozens of huge beehives of apis dorsata. Every night, there would be a huge cluster of bees at the lights, about 2000 or so. In the morning, some of them die, and the rest fly off.
Great storytelling! I had to look up the potential answer to this mystery, and came across "zombie bees". Apparently, a parasitic fly can make honeybees act exactly the way you described -- come out at night, circle a light source, then die. :'(
I once always had these bee chimming around the light on the ceiling and then died. It drop on the floor where me and my family usually walk pass so we accidentally stepped on it many times.
Most solitary wasps are really not that dangerous. Just don't handle them. I have a huge potter wasp building a nest in my screen door. It doesn't attack us (my family) whenever we open and close the door.
@@UrbanWildeCDO yeah they seem pretty docile because I ended up just using the kitchen and pretending they're not there😅, and they're just dropping to the floor and dying
My apologies to Clay Bolt for getting his name wrong in the video. 'should have been "CLAY BOLT", not "Clay Bolton".
Better late than never...properly spelled is very important. Good job!!
@@kristinecuaresma758 Thank you!
Can't die with mosquito bat

I suddenly have an urge to search for answers to the mystery of their death😁 There is something about the light... :)
Hehehe. Dunno if the light has something to do with it. Mr. Clay Bolt suspects contact with pesticides.
lock of info 😏😏😏
The biggest of all bees is Jollibee Divisoria! 😀😀😀🐝
Hahaha! Mas dako pa sa Jollibee Carmen?
Basin baygon killed them?? 😭 pero hadlok sab kog bees, tago nalang sa haus till theyve gone. Lol
Could be pesticide-sprayed nga flowers Chi nga they came in contact with. Or parasite sa ila lawas. I don't know..hehehe.
I came here because 10 bee's are flying at my bulb right now.
Hahaha!
