If you are lucky and are put in a big harem, there's a high chance you'll be forgotten by the emperor and therefore, not involved in much harem battles. Ofc, that doesn't exempt you from being pawn or facing someone's jealousy. Honestly, your own family can be the one to force into the heat of battle.

So that means wei yingluo is also included in this drama but not with same actress in the yanxi palace drama, this time wei yingluo is just one of the side characters and in this drama there are also many different things that happened. For example prince yongqi in the yanxi palace drama was adopted by wei yingluo and not by empress ulanara or rather ruyi in this drama.

AND had the ingredients handy most of the time. Today we might not outlive the tests or the treatment. Today the concern is lawsuits. Back then the concern was keeping the Doctors head attached.
