One thing that interest me is that when they presenting the villain, this show seems try not make the audience completely hate the character, i mean with the sad music and the character dying wanting redemption (Jia, Xiyue) every concubine’s death is potrayed as sad and pitiful. I gotta admit, i hate what Aruo did, but kinda feel sorry for her (a little) cause it seems she regret her decision.

I don't feel sorry for she plans keep on she did a lies and cheated she got away she betrayed her mistress that woman wasn't evil to hers she corrected her when she was wrong and she told her about her mouth but her mouth getting her in trouble until she got tangled up with him other villains so she got what she deserved and more stop punished for them are the ones I would have told the truth but she didn't and the truth came out all in the end of the who really killed all those people the queen got away with her murders too because of her status all of them did but eventually they all died so Revenge revenge wrong is wrong there is no right in doing evil

I think because, for the most part, they're all kinda pitiful. A'Rou let her emotions and delusions get the better of her which led to her downfall, Jia sacrificed her whole life and children for a man who never loved her and disowned her as soon as she was no longer useful to him. Even Ruyi was pitiful in a way cause, though she had the emperors heart, at some point he started treating her badly. Concubines Shu, Mei and Chun were the most pitiful to me.

Poor girls. Most of them were 13-20 year old girls. They are not women, they are still immature, young and innocent girls in many ways. Who hasn't done foolish things in those times in their lives? Damn the way they were treated for foolish things at such a young age is so unfair. Catherine Howard being an example.
A lot of peoples have never done foolish thing when there were between 13 to 18 years old. It is a matter of choice and if one makss mistakes a matter of owning mistakes. I saw a lot of peoples giving young age as reason to avoid owning a mistake. This shouldnt be it.

It's only natural since they have yet to learn. Learning and owning is part of it. Being murdered and harshly punished for it isn't normal at all, that behavour would be abusive and toxic in a very high degree.

I was referring to Aruo's act of causing Cinderella/Ula Nara to be sent away to the Cold Palace (literally a prison term for misbehaved concubines with another crazy old concubine cohibiting the same Cold Palace) against Ula Nara's will, confined in a small cold place with 1 maid and small stipend of charcoal which is not enough to warm their bodies at night. Aruo, had also accused Ula Nara of murder, a sin which cost Ula Nara her freedom and the Victims (other concubines who lost their children due to alleged murder allegedly committed by Ula Nara) to try to kill Ula Nara to revenge (Ula Nara was proven to be innocent and the allegation was a trap to ensure the downfall of Ulu Nara and her demotion to prisioner in the Cold Palace).
This comment is in relation to the drama Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, and i did not meant my comment to all 13-18 yo teens globally yeah.
In conclusion, Aruo's act of giving false evidence which caused Ula Nara to be imprisoned in the Cold Palace, due to Aruo's jealousy and her greed to achieve her dream of being a Royal Concubine, is inexcusable. Young people may repent, but they have to own their mistakes. Being an underage is only a mitigating factor in sentencing process in a any juvenile criminal court. It is in no way a good defence on its own. Cheers!
