I always thought what if track creators had pro testers to spin a few motos on a fresh track. Then lock the deform in and polish it up a bit to run smoother. Instead of making prefabricated ruts. Then race it with 0 deform.

Is it a valid take that I believe this is how it should be? Closest to IRL. The slow place looks real now comparing to GOPRO footage. Line selection really matters and you aren't on rails 24/7. Probably get boring real fast tho. Idk.

feels like it may be more up to track creator in many cases. Probably them being able to choose start and end point plus hardness of the ground can play into this. Makes me want to get into track creation just to kinda do some of my 3d/game design stuff.
