Hey , thanks for putting up tab. 70 yr beginner , this beyond me but it's nice you put the tab up, I'm sure it's very helpful , some people try to talk you through it , which is impossible on banjo . Thanks moe
Thanks for commenting. You may want to check out my Variations on Banjo in the Hollow and Cripple Creek videos. They start off a lot more basic than this and then build to more advanced ideas. I pretty much use the onscreen tab with most of my videos. My easy version of Dueling Banjos would be another good one to try. Good luck with your picking!
Very cool…Gotta get back on the banjo train. I give myself such trouble when ever theory is needed, or just needing to know the notes up the neck for each string. I have your book, just need to, practice, practice, practice…
Just a small theoretical nit pick: this would only be C Lydian if there were no capo involved. Since A Is your tonic (home) note this is actually A Dorian.
Thanks for pointing that out...a little late-night coffee and I might have caught that before publishing. It's also tricky thinking the actual notes versus what one is thinking when capoed, so if thinking in G this would be G Mixolydian.
Thanks agin Eddie for another awesome video!!
Thanks Steven, I hope you've been able to pick a few of these.

Yes, the ol "P" word--practice, most of us could use more of that, myself included!
