Btw, I know you probably saw the update logs already, but I’ll explain the modifiers and changes here. Shotgunners got cheaper but for every upgrade it gets 1 less damage (2-1,3-2, etc), crook boss got straight buffs with fire rate decrease, final upgrade cost decrease, and rebalanced g crook with costs increase, fire rate boosts, and damage nerfs. Bloated means a zombie has 2x their normal hp, speedy means 2x speed, and tanky means every damage source done to the enemy is 1 (like old Templar shield). Also, militant has fly detection now, and regular soldier got buffed too.

I swear, so many people are ungrateful for this new mode, the devs never said it was harder than Fallen and everyone was mad about it. No offense to the comment section, but every game I play there's that one kid who's mad at it.
İts harder than fallen, i can beat. Fallen solos faster than interdimate solos. And molten mode, jester and shotgunner nerfs are another thing

@@Western_macedonia_dictatorshipit’s easier than fallen. Fallen hasn’t changed for 4 years, so people are very used to the wave layouts and enemies. This mode is completely new, so no one yet knows the fastest strategy or best counters to the enemies, since it plays so differently than fallen. Since it has 30 waves however, it theoretically can play much faster than fallen, my fastest time is 13 minutes in duo, a ridiculously hard feat in fallen with any amount of players

It's refreshing to see a new gamemode in TDS for awhile, in the TDS discord, they currently plan on reworking the other existing gamemodes and a newer one! This update though is cool, and I like it a lot, it's not the best but it's something good to see from TDS in awhile
I actually knew Capra befoe he went into animating for tds, originally he was gonna animating for tdx, but later in our conversations he said that he wanted to aim higher and he meant tds. And I'm glad his animations are the best I've seen!
I think with current situation TDX is gonna become more popular for listening community and small intervals between updates and their quality
The beginning of this mode is harder than dealing with the first 25 waves of fallen but as soon as this mode hits wave like 20 it becomes easy
Yeah I agree some enemies were already leaking but later on the game the enemies couldn't even get pass the first loop (I played it on grassy isles just in case if you were wondering)

Yea but do I look like I care about tds anymore ever since Tdx released the badge mechanic that gives you 80% more gold once you win a game mode on any maps
I like the idea of the scientist who created the zombies but honestly i prefer the grave digger over patient zero plus its just odd to me that they would explain this boss but then dont give the other bosses explanations which wouldve been cool and add some flare to this update
They plan to, they said they would rework the other modes recently
My own lore. Grave digger: he was an extremely tanky man. The towers all relied on him for everything. One day he got overwhelmed. And that was only the start of the adventure molten boss: (I'm putting this on the commanders perspective cuz I'm lazy) We do not know much about this man. An assumption is that he isn't a real human being. He must be created by something. Fallen king: The king of all 3. One who started the apocalypse. Armored by an insanely strong material he stomps the battlefield.He was a fallen like everybody else was. But he became a guardian. Into a king, This was passed down from zombie generation to generation. Went through many hardships to get in where he is now.
if im correct:
the slime modifier summons a slime (intermediate) upon death, which will transform into a random enemy if they are left alive for too long
the tank modifier makes all damage inflicted be set to 1 (not sure about unit collision though)
ramming does not deal decreased damage
it doesnt count for unit collision yeah, so merc base is fucking overpowered
i think the enemy spam exists just to give you heaps of money because instead of it being 40 waves its 30 instead (if you look closely you can see some enemies giving 300-400 cash per death, and seeing the amount of enemies, you can get roughly 5-10k from 1 wave)
Its going to be like tdx where you will need both splash and dps to win

I’m kind of underwhelmed though. I thought it was gonna be a pretty difficult special gamemode, but it’s just a base mode. And it’s honestly easier than molten cause of the wave cash…

Slime: will spawn a slime upon death
Bloated: double health
Health Regeneration: Heals health, no matter if its being attacked
most of the new enemies have very similar movement speeds lol it is so incredibly easy to bunch them all up w/cryo
if you bring cryo and mortar(s) you're basically all set for non-boss waves
It feels lazy and they also nerfed molten (400 coins) and they changed the starting coins from 600 to 550 with the group perks

The mode is cool but it just spams enemies in the later waves and also the only thing separating it is the completely new enemies(they should add more) and animations... Also it's dumb how the starting coins is now 550 what a pointless nerf

early game = harder than fallen
mid game = harder than fallen mid game
end game = easier than fallen
but being honest they need or to buff fallen or making this mode more easy

The animation is great, and fresh gameplay. You guys just having too much expectation (because of chaos mode). And ofcourse, the music is playing at first wave now, not only at boss wave.
Kinda hope that below remake the other boss too
Honestly intermediate gives you so much coins for beginning waves and the final waves just give you an insane amount of coins. I literally managed to get ranger in wave 12

I little theory what if they are gonna add 2 more game modes because the new mode has 30 like normal so then after fallen could be a new boss but I think there might be too much modes so it’s a maybe probably.

This is all around a good update for both the players who just like to play the game and grind and for people who want to learn more about the story of TDS. Ah yes commander doesn't know everything.

maybe the reason why its lower waves such as 30 compared to 40 is because the early enimies are alot stronger, to make up the 10 waves

This mode is really ez if u have the right loadout. For me using military base and militant alone worked so it’s ez if u have a decent strat
Corso, the thing about intermediate is that it’s faster paced, also it’s not balanced because you can solo it with one tower; militant
Yknow I think it’s good that TDX and TDS are competing, it pushes each game to add more content.
crook boss in this update is more like fixed,cause crook boss couldn't spawn goon 2 and goon 3 in 19.0 update.
here is a therory: since this is kind of like a "nuclear" theme maybe will add some of these to polluted wastelands?

this is one of the coolest but also goofiest game modes (btw for anyone looking to solo it, the loadout I use is farm, militant, accel, commander & DJ)
Patient zero had a goofy death animation, just like eradicator mk4
I wanted an intermediate between Fallen and Hardcore,not this,tho I will give it a personal check.
When my friend and me play this mode, i use Accel and he use military base, then the damage is instant. So we both see the boss regen very fast and we thought it have second type of mode, but game end and we have a bit disappointed and the money...
well atleast there now a gamemode that you can solo for more cash if you still can't solo fallen mode

Bro when I first defeated him, when he died his HP bar was slowly regenerating and I thought it was a "Last Breath" phase but it was just a bug LMAO

I recommend using:
Militant, Accelerator, Farm, Commander and Dj
Now i cant lie about the spam and no cash on TDX, but thats only certain waves and not like all of them
I didn’t see the stages of patients zero because accel with 20% dmg buff and rangers (without dmg buff) that killed him to fast lol
I was kinda hoping jt would use fallen base enemies, like the abnormal and i forgot which one its called but quick or speedy

I was really hoping this mode was going to surpass fallen in difficulty. And the fact that it's barely harder if not easier than molten means I'm not going to play it often. Fun for newer players but disappointing for me.

So. A bug I found. While playing intermediate mode on some point elf camp just stopped working. I didn't see if the max worker but I lost because the gunner elves at level 4 elf camp just stopped working. As in they didn't spawn even when their spawn timer was up.
