Thank you, Titus, for joining the body of Christ in prayer for the victims of hurricane Helene and let's continue to pray for all those that will be impacted by hurricane Milton. Praise God that we have hope in Jesus Christ, that one day we'll not suffer and hurt, as He promises in scripture. As children of God, lets counsel with the Lord. God's ways are not the way of the world. We vow to our employer to do our work as unto the Lord. Thats what we agree to when we take a job. Now, if a situation arises where our superiors at work will tell us to not be truthful in a particular situation where the employer will benefit. In such instance we should not keep our word with our boss. That happened to me, and I refused to lie. I still have this job. God saw me through🙏 Tina/PA
19:00 Is a good sample about not keeping one's word in the case of when we misspeak. Titus says: "What's most important to me about everything else is HONORING MY CREATOR. Following His will as outlined in his word.😊"
So love your singing and song choices... praying for your ministry and all that are impacted by hurricane Helene..animals are a great source of unconditional love...a responsibility too...God bless..❤

Thank you for finishing the devotions after your company arrived. When I watched it earlier, it ended abruptly. I came back later, and saw you had finished it, even with that sad, sad story.
Dear sister Stephanie and brother Titus: PLEASE prayerfully watch these two videos (sorry, UA-cam won't let me post the links): 🙏🏼💝 “Till Death Do Us Part, To Divorce Or Not? - Pr Elisabeth Mokoro“ “When Marriage is Adultery - Ryan Goodwin - Monte Vista church of Christ“
I have a hymn book because I like singing with you. The hymnal song 386 written by Joseph Hart, on lyricfind the writers are Fernando Ortega and Amy Grant. There are similarities with your hymn but I would like to know which hymn book do you use please?
Even when Israel breaks the covenant, the Lord did not leave them, and He waited for them to repent and come back and He continued to work with them. God is a God of reconciliation, and He HATES divorce. The Bible says if a wife separates for a time, then let her be reconciled to her husband. There is no "they break the covenant so then I am free to do as I will". You are one flesh, and if we all submit our hearts to the Lord, and let Him soften and subdue us, and we do our part to respect and love, the Lord can heal and repair. Have faith in Him! Seek for reconciliation, not to go to 'greener' pastures, which will turn out to be a bitter feild in the end.
Divorce and remarriage - part 1 Genesis 2:21-24 KJV 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall CLEAVE unto his wife: and they shall be ONE FLESH. After you become one flesh with your covenant spouse, you cannot make it undone and become one flesh afterwards with another woman: Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. The word „cleave“ which is mentioned for the first time in Genesis 2:24 in the context of the marriage covenant, is mentioned several times in connection with God’s covenant / His relationship with us: Deuteronomy 4:4 But ye that did cleave unto the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day. Deuteronomy 10:20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name. Deuteronomy 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Deuteronomy 13:4 Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. Joshua 23:8 But cleave unto the Lord your God, as ye have done unto this day. I understand from that that „cleave“ describes a very strong connection which can only be dissolved by death. Isaiah 54:5-6 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. God is our husband and we are His bride. In the book of Hosea, the prophet is told to marry a prostitute to illustrate the character of God (Who is always faithful) versus the character of His children (who tend to be unfaithful). Hosea 1:2 KJV The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD. 2 Timothy 2:13 King James Bible If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Contemporary English Version If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful. Christ cannot deny who he is. This is how God deals with His adulterous, wayward bride: Hosea 2 14 Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. 15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. 16 And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali. 17 For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. Hosea 14 4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him. Also Ezekiel speaks about the faithfulness and longsuffering of God with His unfaithful bride: Ezekiel 16:58-63 King James Version 58 Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the Lord. 59 For thus saith the Lord God; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant. 60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant. 61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant. 62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: 63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord God. God remains faithful to His covenant with us even when we commit spiritual adultery because of who He is, not because of us. Likewise, we have to remain faithful to our marriage vows even if it’s to our own hurt (because that’s what God does) because of who we are (a child of God) and not because the other person deserves it (we don’t deserve God’s faithfulness, either): Psalm 15 1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. 4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. Mary and Joseph were called husband and wife even during their betrothal period before the official wedding ceremony and the consummation of the marriage: Matthew 1:18-20 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Yes, spot on. Even if a marriage is dissolved by the state, she still has a living husband. This line of thinking Titus is introducing gives people a license to remarry after divorce. This is what has become acceptable by the majority of Main stream Christianity thinking and people marry and divorce over and over again. Better not to vow if you cannot keep it. The whole council of God….
There is reasoning above the Word of the Lord in this study! 1 Cor 7 is the chapter spoken of, and they twisted the verses from 27-28 as if to say that "if you are married seek not to be loosed, and if you are already loosed seek not a wife but if you do, its not a sin to marry another wife." That is not what the Word means here. What is said is this " If you are married, seek not to be loosed and if you are already loosed from a marriage seek not a wife, PERIOD> THEN, it says "if someone marries it is not a sin to marry, though it is better to remain single in the Lord", The verse 39 clariies everything---The wife is BOUND by the LAW of God AS LONG AS HER HUSBAND LIVES, she is ONLY at liberty to remarried IF her husband has passed away. PERIOD. There is no getting around the Word of God. To reason above it is a dangerous thing to do.
