Dude, the capsize was tragic! Though, not as tragic as my motor 😂
Seriously though, thanks for having me out! It’d be awesome to do another build battle with you guys.
omg ur *the guy*
i edited my comment to remove the quotes and i think it got unpinned 😂 rip
@@Weisz SIW
you need a string trimmer with a clutch for that motor design to work, but also needs to be a bit of a bigger string trimmer too
My trimmer at home has a clutch on the working end, so even when it stops spinning the engine never quits. Wonder if that would help ya?

They hated Jesus because he told them the truth.
@phục êwê he was not slow
Did you guys just record an ad with Sam covering the obligatory details while wearing a Skip Ad shirt? And they approved it? That's boss af.
lol
And I watched the whole thing :P
And he sounded like a gun was to his head the whole way through.
it is a suggestion and I took it, I'm sick of adds I can't block.

So the only thing separating your taint from the whirling metal blade of +2 maiming is a few layers of wet cardboard huh, neat idea man.
Comment was funny till I saw the video then it was just terrifying
That’s what I was thinking....
Yup. Need to have a dead mans switch or something. That is way dangerous. When underwater it is very easy to get disoriented.
Autocastration

11:10 love the homemade titanic flute 😂
*Hammers a screw in place*
Threads: am I a joke to you?
That was a bolt a screw in a bowl or two completely different things
I had some kids in my woodshop class do this
If only you knew where to get free WATERPROOF and SUPERSIZED foamboard!!!!
Love you, legit project and video 😆
hmnm i wonder from where
Lowes?
@FliteTest please DO find my reply to the pinned comment, it'd be fantastic if SOMEONE with a large following made a video of the idea that sure does have a history near 100 years ago now.
@@PeterSripol They sell it
Peter, you need to use fluted plastic board. Check out the channel of paul elkins. He makes a lot of mini houses/camper bikes etc. All from this stuff. Strong and waterproof. It is carton made of plastic. Cheap and pretty strong.
This needs to become an event haha!
Soooo whos gunna tell him?
@@koreyinthehouse5860 haha that's 2hat I 2as thinking
Awesome 200 in cardboard natural
Make a lego speed boat
Does it tho ? Answer : YES!!!
Very nice, Peter! For the future, I think you should test how much that propeller cavitates at that speed.
Also, the sheets of cardboard MAY do better if varnished BEFORE assembly as well as afterward.

Dont let go Peter!

Peter can swim, the battery cant
The stop motion was amazing!! wow there’s so much in this video that flows seamlessly that I’m just as pleased visually as I am intellectually. Good stuff
That man is seriously using a weed wacker 😂
um no thee atleate i don't think there are real engines for small boats like that they use them for rly shallow water
might be wrong tho im not a pro in boat engines also if it where a weed wacker why would the end be that bent
@@trishacorcoran6413
You can get bent shaft line trimmers, he just loosened the motor to rotate it 180 degrees.
@@dontnubblemebro true
@@dontnubblemebro also i think it is a weed wacker but there are types of motors that are like that that are meant for shallow waters
Broo why is it every childhood dream I have peter makes!??! :/
Ikr but i love It
just commented at the pinned comment, a how to for a great paper boat.
couple of them would be an awesome family project
At 11:12 into the clip, the musical tribute to a sinking ship is by far the best ever. I believe it even extends far beyond the best of Celine Dions tribute in the sinking of the greatest oceanliner ever built , the unsinkable TITANIC.First saw this video in Jan, 2021 and now subscribed. Awesome looking fun.
Great project!! I loved the motor set up I was looking for a long time something similar for a kayak. I would love if you could detail the motor set up or used it in a different project like a kayak o stitch and glue boat.
Thiers somthing hailarious about Peter desperatly tearing out all of his electronics as hes sinking. XD
I agree 😂
The shitty recorder version of my heart will go on was a fantastic touch lol
I was literally just thinking “isn’t he supposed to upload soon”
daniel Stark same
If he can just upload another thing than a cardboard boat for World of -Money- Warships, that will be great...

Just found your Channel. Used to watch you as a young brilliant Kid on FliteTest...
Now you've grown up, and still doing crazy stuff!!! 👍👍😎
Still making Foam Core Board Aircraft? I just Subbed to find out!! 😉
Carmine ✈🚂🚙
I would love to see a more substantial version of this done like your plane project. A single person speed boat seems like a neat idea.
@PeterStripol that was one of the best montages I've seen!
Edit as I watched more: I don't know why but I feel like the video has like a new fun energy/editing.. I like it
I would love to see a wooden (or non-desolvible) iteration of this boat. It drive great and the motor worked flawlessly!
naaw, too small+narrow to be really stable. I've built a few boats now.
@@modelnutty6503 do you think if he added some ballast and lowered his sitting pisition, it would work?
@@treyfort4805 The ballast yes, the sitting position no.
Im glad you didnt loose your hand!!! You know with this setup you could build a really fast boat, or a hyrdofoil!! Love your Videos! Greetings from Greece
5:45 dog just sitting like he don't care. Also, I like the slight change in music genre. Not that electro swing is bad, just this is also good.
Sam: I like to play battleships
-literally 5 seconds later
*shows cruiser*
Right, the Indy is definitely a Cruiser...🙄
and he's going full broadside against an IOWA of all things
Cashing a paycheck. He just got sloppy.
And, why do they keep switching between console and desktop? Wouldn't they want to bait in new players with fancy desktop maxed out graphics?
@@IronCypher Yeah, but it seems like they either A. got a script sent over by wargaming, or B. made their own, but I would've thought that wg at least would have reviewed it. But, honestly, just me being nitpicky
"I really like the Battleships!" *Immediately lists a heavy cruiser*
Best part? His favorite CA is USS Sharkbait
great video and great fun . Having built cardboard boats( paddle powered ) I can say part of the fun is sinking . One of the rules was no two part coatings. One was a pedal powered hydrofoil, he was the fastest!
It seems like the interior could have been waterproofed as well. How did you know what size and pitch propeller to get? What wattage motor?
Best use of my heart will go on on UA-cam 👍😂 brilliant context
Now time for a cardboard plane! Get to it, Sripol!
Genius! It's not often a plane-related UA-camr manages to make me care about something non-plane-related, but Peter, you're the master. Loved every second of it, especially the pulling-out-the-rudder. :D Curious as to how she would have held up after the capsize if you'd varnished inside as well as out.
Peter: *”what are all these Walmart charges?”*
Louis: *”umm... gorilla glue...*”
You were the kid who went way beyond the required level and got 3 bonus points
The boat I dreamed of in my 6th grade class project. This is dope.
if they had bought and used dope (well, it appears that kind of dope, or just being dopey) to coat the cardboard properly, they wouldn't have a soggy cereal sinker
Shakdi no unfortunately. first little stress crack anywhere and its done.
find my reply to the pinned comment is how to do it up to last for years.
6:13 everyone needs a friend like him
Enjoyed this video! Looked like loads of fun. You should rebuild the boat in aluminium stick two of them electric motors in.
6:30 That's cool AF even knowing that that wasn't there.
yes
@@justcoppedthatnewgrucci2212 yes
build montages are back, baby! :D
GENIUSES I love the build montage !! editing is second to none ! I love all the details, flamingo, that's priceless !
The parts floating together was amazing!!
Sam looks like he has lost a lot of weight good on ya man!
New to your channel. Great boat!
Always wondered if you could use cardboard as core, then fiberglass it.
Amazing! You definitely need a re-do on that one! Think about doing "stitch and glue" using 1/8" door skin (luan plywood at Lowes/HomeDepot) Better material... less glue... probably about the same cost.
just two of u guys do sooooooooo much hard work and have made this channel so big
hats off to u guys
I would like to see how fast this engine can push a small “normal“ boat
30 HP is actually enormous for any small boat!
Your taking school projects to another level
3D printed boat would be awesome. Take a long time but awesome nonetheless. I didn’t know you lived so close to me (3 hours). My wife is an airline captain so your plane builds intrigue me. Awesome video and looking forward to future videos!
sick build video peter, keep up the good work!!
Plsss make a super fast small speedboat from any kind of material
"they are generally very slow and dont go very fast"
Peter that means slow
Young and having fun. Gotta love it. ❤️
Great effort I could tell before you flipped the boat at the 7:06 mark that the boat is top heavy which is why the steering inputs needed to be small. Gotta steer a boat like that very slowly. I would suggest making it wide and flat for stability and strength.
I was WAITING for that version of the Titanic song to come on at some point 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:06 sounds like a tripod from war of the worlds
Flute at the end made the whole vid for me on this one.. good job guys!!! lol
When you capsized, I nearly wet myself laughing! So funny! :D
Why aren't people building these out of Coroplast? (the plastic corrugated stuff political signs are often made of)...They would be reusable and last virtually forever. That electric drive system was perfect! Great job *PeterSripol*
look at the oru kayak, it's basically an origami kayak with a 90% price margin.
Rip The King Of Random. We love you.

Good thing you hammered that but on! Wouldn't want it coming loose...
There r those who boast, show-off , constantly repeat what they have built/made, they marvel at their creation n constantly get surprised at their own .
Then there are those who keep creating/making/building and stretching their creative spirit and creative quality to their limits ,....Peter may I say ??👍👍👍👍👍
I love that Sam wore a "Skip ad" t-shirt while doing the ad-read. lmao
Intentional?
Build a full rc 8 foot kayak use an actual kayak tho , ride in or just rc it with no 1 in it??? This is a 2019 project challenge only. THKS
Been there done that but it was 16ft (new one is just over 14) check my channel out...
ua-cam.com/video/iwxHRzXo0z8/v-deo.html
That was fun! Add some foam board and some packing tape into the equation and go again! Love it.
10:56 Peter Sripol’s TITANIC 😹🚢
That sounds like an actually terrible idea. I love it.
The USS Indianapolis was a heavy cruiser, not a battleship.
The whistle at the end was awesome 🤩!
@11:25 finally some good music.
You guys shout submit this to guiness book of world records
This channel is just pure hype shit. Project looks so fun. Liked the little stop motion too.
Stitch and glue plywood epoxy. I've built several. Simple and solid. Wish I had put that drive in one, I only used a trolling motor.
I find it impressive that you know what shapes to cut out
so you basically spent about a 100 bucks you could have made it out of thin plywood and epoxied it
and you would have had a boat that lasted decades
It's still a cool boat.
Building a totally normal and nothing special boat like hundreds of other UA-cam videos won’t get him a million views. A super fast nearly pointless cardboard boat with a guaranteed dramatic death is going to get views and pay the bills.
Can you make a The:
“Yamato-class-super battleship”
Why? So, it can do nothing, then sink?
Legit I think just getting the CoG sorted and adding marine varnish on the interior components and you guys got it!
Guys, you make me laugh so hard, all your machines are simply awesome!! Pleas keep up your brilliant work!! Perfect and very inspiring. Love it.
BRO U MADE THIS NOW MAKE A BOAT THAT CATCHES FISH JUST ADD A LINE AND A HOOK
A COROPLAST boat would have held up better but for serious effort you need perhaps foam and fiberglass or aircraft plywood with fiberglass bottom protection. The motor is impressive power wise but the prop is too big for full throttle you will burn out the ESC. You should do a redo on this boat project as the performance is excellent. Like your flying plane make a go at a real solid fast boat. Look up Cracker Box that style of boat will pop up on plane fast and yield good out of the gate performance with the given amount of thrust on tap. You will note the Cracker Box style is wider for more stable running always set up seating as low as possible with some padding for your butt as these types of boats will skip and hop across the water. Lets see some real effort here these outrunner motors put out some serious torque pick a lower KV if you plane on keeping the prop.
A two blade surface prop and a SAWS style mono will be faster. How far you want to take it... 30 mph for 20 min duration would be a good worthy trip to the pond. 😁
"Muskogee Sea Flea", a 10ft would be the ideal.
Hahahahaha
11:11 - fantastic, I love it
Great work you guys
Best commercial I seen yet on you tube!
I love the Aardman-esque stop-motion assembly sequences :)
I love being creative and always have these ideas in my mind but don't have the materials to do it and I hope someday I can become like u and make crazy things.
@1:08....Hey!! this is suppose to be a family friendly channel!!!
haha the little editing nuggets that you guys throw into your vids, especially this one......fantastic!!
I sure hope that transmitter was waterproof...you should add on a couple of outriggers ..or sponsins to stabilize that thing ..which should give a better cg for bigger batteries..?
Hey man I really like this montage I really love them👌🏻 I remember when I subscribed that was one of the things that I liked a lot so plz keep it going, cheers keep it up 🥇
Another great video. I am going to make my own now😂. You guys are awsome!
Amazing Cardboard boat
I really like your montages!
Another cool, fun project!!! Wow
need a way to channel the flow of the water. perhaps build a box with a wide opening on one end and a narrow opening so the thrust is more concentrated
That was soo much fun to watch, you have to do an other one.. 😁Go for it 👍
As the spline of the boat enters the nethers of hits taint.... "This is veeery uncomfortable". Had a good chuckle.
The recorder song during the sinking was a master stroke.
You need to build another one!! That thing moves dang well
If I buy a manufactured product, I'd be happy. If I make the product, I'd be even happier.
For me, there's something more exciting about making something and it works decent, rather than buying something and it works perfect. Peter just keeps on fulfilling that feeling.
Amazing boat
With Louis on hull design and Peter on power and steering you guys could make one hell of a cardboard boat!
Interesting how to use the beam project! ^^
Like always this is a high quality content video!
This is awesome! Please build a slightly larger stitch and glue version to really push the limits of this idea.....also, thanks for being so cool to the kids at FF Peter
