If "buying" isn't "owning" then "piracy" isn't "theft".
then make your own or get someone to make one for you
Exactly. I would have no problem paying them if I could use it my entire life. For me photography is a hobby does doesn't bring in money so I am not interested in never ending subscriptions. I have not upgraded my camera which means the raw files today are the same format as raw files I made 10 years ago so 2015 year PS is still working.
Paying, not buying. Buying is paying to own. If you don't get ownership, you didn't buy it. You were just conned into paying for it.
@@Roxor128Perhaps the problem is the terms used by them "Purchase", "Buy" even though they are synonymous with ownership, these companies can redefine the terms

There’s a good reason many of us, people who do such things, call ourselves reverse engineers. Most RE’s are dedicated, and if ANY company claims that they have an unhackable system, then it’s basically a direct challenge, because RE’s know one thing: Nothing is unhackable/uncrackable. If one can’t do it, there’s a thousand more that try. And it’s genuinely fun.
I have a deep respect for reverse engineers. I hope to one day be smart enough to be one
Yeah but nobody bothers with Denuvo anymore. Too difficult
i think we could only make it not worth the effort to crack a program, and i've only seen a few that could do that
Denuvo is uncrackable theres only 1 person in the world that can do it, reverse engineers are too weak to crack it
@@neey3832 Simple solution, just make the software so bad in features it's not worth having for free
Now we need a huge virtual tube that sucks money out of Adobe every time I use photoshop
A new payment method, where you get paid in subscription for using their products 👍🏻
Best way to beat piracy is to price your products fairly and maintain goodwill in your community
People will crack your software not because they don't have money to pay but they hate adobe
and because they dont have money to pay insanely high prices which is also why they hate it
Abode forcing users to update to the latest version by making it impossible to open newer files in older versions is exactly why I believe cracked versions are a lifesaver. I’m willing to pay a very high price for a one-time purchase, not a subscription model where I’m forced to upgrade just to open newer files. Like… they’re literally forcing me to buy their product because they know it has become the industry standard, and they know that, whether I like it or not, I have to use it.
I really hope the industry starts moving away from Adobe standardization so they learn a lesson... that consumers subscribe to their software not because they like it, but because they have no choice.. REMEMBER!!! I know there are many alternatives to Adobe out there. However, for those working at a professional level with extensive collaboration across multiple divisions, Adobe has successfully established itself as the standard and is used by many people. That’s why it can be considered “forced" / "have no choice"

good thing their psd format is supported across multiple third party programs. if the edits and layers dont use much proprietary features (as they are not in most cases) you can open their files in any other painting / editing software. new or old
@ Adobe wanted to enforce licensing fees for the file format but that got shot down really fast as it was already in circulation in so many software.
Props to you for not censoring yourself! YT tends to censor videos regarding piracy/cracking because they always assume malicious intent :/
So much respect for these people
the simple answer is: There's no way for you to run code on a computer without telling the computer what code it's running. And if you give the code to one computer, it can be infinitely copied to every other computer. It doesn't matter if you try to make some of the code encrypted, or use liscense checks, or whatever else, as long as there's code running on your machine, it can be cracked.
Yeah, that is why they are moving from running code in the users computer to running code in their own server. I can imagine in the future everything being in the cloud and nothing locally. 😢
@@Frisso92_ thats the downside of beter internet. Companies can force users to only use Software with internet connection
Forgive me for the ignorance: why then is knowing the source code of games, for example, so difficult? When the GTA V source code leaked, it was a big deal for modders, for example, but the game was always pirated. What’s the difference between the file that is shared in pirating, and the file containing the source code?
@marcelobulhoes6180 When you create a program in a compiled language like C, the code you write is converted into machine code through a process called compilation. Machine code is a low-level representation that computers can execute directly, but it’s essentially gibberish to humans-often represented as binary or hexadecimal.
While there are tools called decompilers that attempt to reverse this process and convert machine code back into a more human-readable form, much of the original information (like variable names, comments, and structure) is lost during compilation. As a result, even with decompilation, it’s often difficult to fully understand the exact logic and functionality of the original code.
So if the source code (the uncompiled, human-readable code) is leaked or made publicly available, it becomes significantly easier to modify, extend, or interact with the original application. This is because the source code provides a clear understanding of the program's logic, including the names of functions, objects, properties, and other critical details.
I've also heard that Adobe purposefully makes its products easy to crack because it's the industry standard - Thousands of people learn the programs on their own every day for free and when design companies need to buy software, Adobe programs are their first choice because everybody knows how to use them
Reverse psychology to the Reverse engineering 😂😂
This is the only reason I do reverse engineering. It's so fun cracking a software that will make you pay your life savings for it.
I also want to learn reverse engineering! Can you tell me where did you start from? Like youtube, courses, college etc
Made a 100 grand last year and am still not buying it
This is the best breakdown of software-cracking I have ever heard. As a thank you, I'm subscribing to become a lifelong fan of this channel.

adobe’s softwares are the only ones that deserve to be pirated, it’s not just their service that is ridiculous but their cancellation fee ruined their reputation forever
Adobe is a greedy company which raises prices to its software each time and an average software from Adobe costs $59.99 per software. That is absolutely crazy to think that. If I were the CEO of Adobe I would lower prices of each software to reduce how many times it's pirated. Would you think you woukd lower the price if you were CEO? Most likely yes.
Easier said than done. Adobe Inc. is a public company. If you do what you've just mentioned, the Board of Directors will just replace you with someone that can rake people's money better.
I thought it was intentional. Large companies and universities likely have some arrangement with them to buy their software in bulk at a discount, which makes up their income. Then they let the small fish crack the software to use, so it stays industry standard and they retain the aforementioned audience. Kinda like how Microsoft Windows runs perfectly fine even if you don't have an activation key.
Lowering prices will not decrease piracy rates. The only way to reduce piracy is to make it free with paid features only for professionals. Also 60 dollars a month (I see on their website it is 20 for individuals and 38 for business, I don't see 59.99) for something that brings you thousands is a fair deal. There are free alternatives that you can always use if you do not want to pay for the best image editing software on the market. Architects pay N times more for their software and they don't complain.
@@user-dc9zo7ek5j Architects are also rich af, and free, open-source alternatives also bring you thousands. Your logic is baseless, you're not their lawyer so don't defend their anti-consumer practises. $60 a month is $720 a year for ONE software... think before you speak.
as gabe newell said, piracy is a service problem. if adobe weren't such greedy assholes people wouldn't feel the need to pirate the software.
I don't generally agree with piracy, but in Adobe's case, i say screw them. They are by far the worst offenders out there. And the cancelations policy is so bad that they're getting sued by the US government! At least Microsoft walked back their office 365 policy and started allowing actual purchases instead of only subscriptions. Sometimes subscriptions make sense, but you should also be allowed to make a purchase to use it as long as you want.
Piracy is fine as long as the material isn't being distributed anymore. As in you can't buy it and piracy is the only way to get it.
@linuxes9681 that's how I feel about emulators. Especially if you purchased that game previously, but you can't play it anymore because the console broke and they don't make parts anymore. Though the tricky part is now companies are remaking/remastering older stuff, so it's less legally gray at that point. Like emulating ocarina of time for the N64 before they released a version on the Wii. That makes sense. But once the release for the wii comes out... idk.
the first and only rule of being an internet artist is; always pirate adobe software
