Thank you, exactly what I wanted to see.
If you'd kindly answer: you slept on the solarium near the lights? (I was hoping they provide some warmth.)
It looks worth the trip even "out of season." You earned my 👍

They do provide warmth, however you still have to have some serious warm sleeping gear. The sleeping bag I had was probably good for maybe a summer camp out with some friends not for a campout in the fall with cold weather. There were a few people sleeping on the solarium but I was probably the least prepared.

@@bradleythekid thanks... I assume I'll need a thick pad under me or the wind will come up under the lounger, but between a pad and a blanket fort... looks like the safest outdoor camping a woman traveling alone can find! I appreciate the reality in your vid!!

When were you planning on traveling?

@@bradleythekid March or April, thinking I'll sleep in serious layering (and be willing to come inside, there should be a spot on the floor. I'm wondering if they'll let me land a twin size airbed out there, it is smaller than most tents. I've seen hammocks strung up, but I'd be swinging like crazy and cold air on all sides. (Camping mats are more sensible.... nobody joyrides an unreliable ferry off season because they are sensible, surely!)

@@opheliadeclines before you start thinking about putting things up, they only let you pitch tents on the part of the solarium that isn't covered. It's sort of like picking your battles. I don't know about inflatable mattress that might be something to check out for sure.
