This is the most "refined" sounding guitar I've heard. It's got that really classy tone where its sweet and thick without being a mudfest. It just reminds me of high class cocktail bars and people in suits....the guitar needs a suit.
Great demo from Jim as usual. I bought a Taylor at NStuff after I saw a demo by Jim. It turned out to be a fantastic guitar. Now, I want a McCarty 594. NStuff is great to work with!!!
I’m baffled by the criticism of this guitar I have seen, that it is not versatile, or costs too much for the features it has. All the manufacturers costs considered, the quality considered, it’s worth every penny.
I love 594's. What I don't love is when someone does a tone demo with special effects applied (like reverb) which alter the true tonal capabilities of the guitar.
You're kidding, right? Dude has the most subtle reverb on (it's on between 2 and 3) and you're acting like he's drenching the guitar signal in a watery Shoegaze wash.
I say what I say because I hear this a lot - "effects are for idiots who can't play and need to cover up their mistakes" - Please enlighten me, how many artists/iconic guitarists (both well known and underground) do not use effects at all in their playing? Tell me so I can listen.
@@wayfaerer320 Not only have I never said anything like that, but I've never even heard of anyone saying anything like that. There is nothing wrong with reverb, use effects all you want. I've probably even got an amp or two which can do reverb, IDK, I just never use it. I plug directly into the amp head and get what I want done through the dials on the amp and the tone controls on the guitar. That's it. No pedals or mumbo-jumbo. My point it that if you are going to demo a guitar, we need to hear the guitar. As I said, nothign wrong with reverb but there are those who use it to cover up things. A lot of reverb can mask an otherwise crappy sounding guitar. Recording an album? Use all the reverb you want. Doing a tone demo for a guitar, let's hear the guitar. We aren't watching the video for entertainment, we need to hear what the guitar can do before we decide to plunk down over $4000.00 to buy one.
Beautiful clean tones. I have one on the way, going to try it for country/modern country gigs.
Being someone who owns a 594, I can safely say that it is the best guitar money can buy.

Still love the sound of that guitar. ♥️🎸♥️
Great demo. You get some beautiful tones out of this pretty guitar. Thank you.
That's a sweet sounding guitar, and beautiful too!
beautiful looking and sounding.
I love my McCarty 594,10 top! It’s right next to my 59’ reissue les Paul Vos.
Opening with some abb.... 😊
Ramblin' Man. 👍

If you are reading this, can I borrow four thousand dollars?

@@wayfaerer320 Not kidding. I don't like reverb. I don't play with reverb. Not difficult to understand.
@@moveoutdrawfire You play completely and absolutely dry? Do you have sound clips of your playing sans reverb and "garbage" effects?
