Lightning best players are in a different league than Canucks best.
Ur right my best player in Hughes is better then any player that has ever put on a lightning uniform and he’s 25
@dominickhawke9379 do you think Petey looked anything more than Junior B out there compared to Kucherov and Point? Hughes isn't going to win a game by himself playing against those guys.
Would like to see Sherwood reunited with Petey and Debrusk, skill speed and grit with a strong forecheck.
Even with JT out, you could then build another nice line around Boeser.
I like Patrick Johnson..but you need to get him a new condenser mic and a compressor to normalize his voice when he speaks under his breath as he often does.
Jpat should pay for that to be clear

Penalty kill has to be unpredictable.
Penalty kill should be suited to the opposing team. Sitting back passively doesn’t work for TB. Way too much decision time for TB. Need to challenge the puck
not inspiring much confidence in this current roster. since nov 7 their record goes W-L-W-L-W-L-L-W-W-L-W-L-W-L. the effort is there. just don't have the ponies to string a run together.
Canucks need a new special teams coach.

An over-acheiving bunch of 3rd liners, with their billion dollar star looking like he couldn't be more disinterested (wouldn't it be nice to see Pettersson put some effort into his play? Instead of collecting up points on PP assists with the least effort possible?). Hughes cannot carry 17 other players every game of the season... Stop fooling yourselves, Canucks fans.
Billion? Check your zeros. But Petty is on a careeer ppg pace matching Messier, Pastarnak, Stamkos, Kane, Selanne, not bad company.

So, I'll repeat myself for the hard of hearing: I wish he'd make an effort 5 on 5, worthy of being the 5th highest paid player in the galaxy (Here, I'll preempt your protest, and CONFIRM that the use of the word "galaxy" was for hyperbolic effect; in case you didn't get that); arguably the WORST contract deciecion Canucks have EVER made.
