For my shuttering works , I use 3ft x 2ft steel board, pine wooden planks and battens and bamboo as props.
Please suggest a better alternative to pine battens -- rolled steel channels or any aluminium battens( if available), or any other idea. But sir, it should be adjustable.
Pine cant be used for more than 4-5 times and acrow spans are too heavy and costly for small projects. Therefore, please suggest a better alternative to pine battens and acrow spans

Those slabs are called flat slab...make a video on them... And the tolerance may to which the midd portion of shuutering to be increased is 5 mm...
Sir, great video, very informative. But could you please tell me is there any other steel material alternative of acrow span. I've slab steel shutters of size 3ftx2ft. We here place 3'' x 2'' wooden battens to support slab shutters @ spacing 2ft(between 2 battens). Now can Rectangular hollow sections( of specific dimensions and thickness) be used in place of wooden battens and acrow spans? Actually acro spans are too costly. I think Rectangular hollow sectionsare less expensive than acrow span.
And , Sir, what should be the minimum spacing between 2 acrow spans.as per the minimum spacing like 3ft or 4ft or 5ft, the slab shutters can be made of above dimensions.

For my shuttering works , I use 3ft x 2ft steel boards. pine wooden planks and battens and bamboo as props. now, pine wood's rate here in assam is rs. 500/cft ( which means rs. 41.67/sqft for 1" thick plank ). Now which has more re-usability -- pine or shuttering plywood . If plywood, then which brand has more re-usability . PLEASE SUGGEST
1 MORE THING... PLEASE SUGGEST A BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO PINE BATTENS -- ROLLED STEEL CHANNELS OR ANY ALUMINIUM BATTENS( IF AVAILABLE), OR ANY OTHER IDEA. BUT SIR, IT SHOULD BE ADJUSTABLE(PINE CANT BE USED FOR MORE THAN 4-5 TIMES) . ACROW SPANS ARE TOO HEAVY AND COSTLY FOR SMALL PROJECTS WHICH I DO.

It is a flat slab. There are no beams. Normally camber provided is up to 10 cms at the centre. Column caps are provided for the columns. The floor height or height of the slab is marked on the Columns.
