I'm planning my month in Thailand- This video was extremely helpful as I'm interested in training at FA Group. Captured the vibe and answered a lot of the questions I had!
This is such a great video! Thank you for posting this. Can I ask how long do you think is a good length of time to go and train at FA Group, or any Thai muaythai gym, for that matter?
It's just our personal opion, but we think between 2 weeks to 1 month is a nice amount of time. In the first week, you'll probably still be getting used to the training (as it would likely be different from the training structure in your home gym), and also your body might need some time to get used to training in the hot, humid Thailand weather, especially if you live in a cold, temperate climate. But all that said, it IS rather hard to make so much time away from work, family and daily commitments in order to train for that amount of time. So even if you were to drop by for a few days, or just one day, if you are on vacation in Bangkok, it would still be a great experience. Have fun!
Thank you for this! I’m planning on coming for a month in June or July. I know it’s during rainy season, would you say that the training would be any different morning runs?
Hi! Sometimes if weather is inclement people skip at many gyms or tire jumping. But if its light rain, the running continues. Best to check directly with each gym!
Hello thank you for posting this video! I’m planning on going to FA Group when I make my trip to Thailand. Do you have to go to the second venue to pay for a session?
Hello, best you touch base at the first venue as it's consistently staffed! Second venue does have a schedule if that's a preference. Both are close to each other.
Foriegn fighters and attendees have a few small hotels and condos to stay near by. When we attended, we were a 8 min walk away at an air bnb condo. Some people travelled via bike taxi to FA Group from as far as Sukhumvit!!! Sometimes the camps themselves also can make recommendations.
Hi! Training costs are as follows: 1 session: 500 baht 1 week: 4500 baht 1 month: 12,000 baht 3 months: 30,000 baht FA Group's on-site accomodations are available (400 baht/day, 2000 baht/week, 6000 baht/month), though limited. These prices are just for accommodations, so for a combined training & accommodation package, do contact them via their Instagram (linked in the description). These on-site accommodations appear very briefly in our video (4:00 min mark), though not the insides of the rooms, which were occupied when we were there. The gym can also arrange for private apartments off-site, which most of our friends tend to stay at when training there. 🤓
You guys are the authority on where to go for MT!!!!
Thank you for your kind words!!!

Im curious where students stay when they train here? Is there like an apartment or condo for rent near? 🤔

😃🥰
how much does it cost to train here? is there a website somewhere where I can look at the prices?
All the info including cost per session and training packages can be found on their Facebook page at facebook.com/muaythaifagroup?mibextid=2JQ9oc
hi how long are the pad rounds and how many do you get in the afternoon?
It depends, but typically 3 to 5 mins, 3 to 5 times.
How much are 1:1 sessions and would you recommend FA Group for a total beginner?
It's best to check with FA Group on the 1:1 session price. They do have beginners classes in the newer gym (as we understand it).
@@plenaandcothey have 2 gyms ?

I will come
We believe you will love it. A great gym to attend!
