- Finally decided to see which all wheel drive system truly is the best on snow - so we took the Audi Quattro up against the BMW XDRIVE and NISSAN ATTESSA. Lets see who wins ;)

Btw- we all had the exact same tire brand and model! Mine was just a bit older which i did not know would make such a diffrence!

@@lopeo3642that is very old, especially for winter tires! At least if you expect performance from them, if you use them for drifting they can be used somewhat safely for some more time

Honestly the audi drag start was crazy, looked like dry surface.
Audi has the best 4wd system, it was actually banned from formula one because to allow Audi to use their system would provide an unfair advantage and cause all of the other auto makers to rework or create a new 4wd system for their cars.
@@joebob3875 what is the advantage of using a 4wd car on F1? 4WD is good on low tracction surfaces and nothing more, on dry tarmac 4WD affects the handling, add more weight and add parasitic power lost... it's hilarious the hype with the Quattro tracction sistem, even in group B when Audi comes with the 4WD they lost one championship to Lancia with the 037 RWD car, and when Peugeot come with the 205 T16 and Lancia with the Delta S4 the dominance of Audi over...
@@Brunoperes_88f1 doesnt really prioritize top speed which is rwds main advantage, a good awd system can handle much better and accelerate faster

@@chrisJordan-xb9wc that it's not the only advantage of the RWD, they are also lighter(who provides a better handling) and less complex(who gives you more reliability), a 4WD system only provides more grip on wet conditions and traction of the line...

I have not drove myself proper quattro, but i daily g31 xdrive, winters are so much better now, it slides great.
I think you should switched the drivers, so that everyone drives every car for the races, because I think in this case it’s more of the drivers skill issue than the cars
Good idea, but changing the gas lever for wheelchair drivers is a tedious process
Don't forget the tyres!🤣🤣
I mean everyone should realize this wasn't even remotely a scientific test, but it won't stop people from drawing conclusions. Seems to me like this test was done as a fun little experiment yet judging by this comment section people are taking it too seriously.
No matter how good the AWD System is, The sheepman will always get it sideways.

The bmws off center towing hook probably gives it an big disadvantage in the towing test, due to the center of mass shiftig towards the right rear tire making the left one lose traction

Great vid! I know a fun thing you need to try next time when you put 2 cars with backs tied together, both turn wheel to same direction and gass they gonna spin like crazy :D and better get new tires for Finland roads are just ice here bro :DD

cooles Video. Ich denke es liegt hier nicht an den Allradsystemen sondern am Fahrer. Reini ist Profifahrer und kennt seinen Audi vor allem auf dem Untergrund. Weder Ronny noch du haben seine Erfahrung noch fahrerisches Können (das soll nicht abwertend gemeint sein). Wie auch in einigen Kommentaren erwähnt, sollte jeder Fahrer mal mit den jeweiligen anderen Autos fahren, was durch Reini aber leider nicht so einfach geht. Alle 3 Kisten sind sehr cool, allerdings weiß man welche Autos auf Rundstrecken usw dominieren (Audi isses nicht)... 😉

The BMW has more hp and its heavier than Audi this is why it pulled the Audi. Nowdays both Audi and BMW have good AWD, but Audi has more experience on making AWD cars. Also I have an Audi A4 allroad and I know how good it is on snow and bad terrain. I like both cars and I would like to have both of them

Is it not a case of whoever loses traction first? As sitting there spinning the wheel isnt going to move you anywhere, instead of smashing the throttle maybe if you feathered it in more gentle yous would go forward instead of just spinning the wheels? Looked alot of fun tho!

Personally, I like it when the front tyres are better than the rear because then you can steer the front where you need to go and the rear dances along.
More fun, sure. But very dangerous on the road. There's a reason why you ALWAYS put better tires on the rear.

first of all, congratulations for the videos, you can really see that you're having fun and to be honest I'm a bit envious because unfortunately the snow practically doesn't arrive where I come from, I have to travel 400 km to find it 😅😁🤦... apart from that, I wanted to ask if Was it possible to know what brand of driving controls the boy in the wheelchair uses (I'm asking because I'm in a wheelchair too) because they are much less bulky than mine and I would be interested in evaluating them in case... thank you very much ✌️ have fun

Hey Schaefchen, it's my first and so far only video from you, so maybe you already talked about that some time ago.
I think I remember Reini from an "Audi Scene" issue from several years ago. I'm not sure, but he probably had a red RS4 and an Urquattro or even a Sportquattro, both converted to hands-only. He's also working as an engineer or something at Audi?
