  • Calling all Star Wars fans! How EPIC is this cake?!?! This Star Wars cake is the perfect birthday cake for any Star Wars fan, so give it a go!
My main tip with this cake is BE PRECISE! Measure, double check, and measure again. In order to have a perfect sphere look, you need to pay attention to the detail from start to end.
My second tip is, if you plan to transport this cake, spend time on planning and implementing a strong support structure for the cake, otherwise your Death Star will roll with the first pothole you hit, and all your hard work will be for nothing.

Hi! This is amazing, I don't understand why you don't have more likes!! Do you hace some kind of template or stencil with the measurements of the pieces? I would like to try to do this cake 😊

Thank you! My channel is still fairly new, so the likes will come with time :)
I didn't use a stencil or template. I simply measure the size between the top and middle of the sphere, and worked out how tall each row of blocks should be. From there, it's simply using a ruler and cutting blocks randomly.

The width doesn't matter and can be random, but keep the height of each row of blocks the same. Measure the height of your hemisphere once covered in fondant and work out how tall each row should be, leaving space between each row, and space at the top for a circle shape.
